Long story short: My wife thinks it's rad.

Short story long: We live in Owatonna, both work down here. I drive the limpin' Legacy to work, she drives a beater Oldsmobile. WRX is our "going out of town" car. She had to go to Edina for work this morning so she takes the WRX. I text her later in the morning to see if she made it alright.

"Yep. Check to see if I got "spotted"."

 

That's that Brandon flesh douchtard on MNSubiez on Facebook. He lives up that way and he is the only silver wrx in the area other than me, but mine is gray and has black mudflaps. But I see what you did there with the Wisconsin plates thing you little **** @Jake underwood

Saw a Grey 11-14 STi wagon at Target in Champlin. Told the guy he had a nice car, then also pointed out I had one. Exhaust sounded nice. I love me some Subie growl.

 

I too like broken car sounds.

 

just got back from a 10 day trip to Seattle. The car scene goes a lil something like this. subaru subaru subaru tesla subaru subaru (random car) subaru tesla. rinse and repeat. Saw so many nice subies while I was out there. I had to drive my brother in laws crappy accord so I didn't get to take any pictures of them though

 

Was out early this month and had the same thought! Great place!

 

I keep seeing a 2015? galaxy blue wrx in Hopkins by the police station...someone in here?? Looks just like my STI but no wing.

 

I really like the Galaxy Blue. I was really dead set on getting the blurple but they switched to the Galaxy color. You don't see many that color.

 

I know it isn't a Subie, but I saw a very nice looking FR-S while waiting in the lobby of Brooklyn BLVD dental. Sounded nice even from inside. I can't remember if it was orange or red though.

 

This morning just before 8am, Black 2015 WRX behind me westbound on Marshall. We both turned (opposite directions) onto Fairview. Waved, but not sure if you saw.

 

Spotted this bugeye wagon driven by a chick on Rockford Rd. in Plymouth. I decided to go into stalker mode and let her pass by so I could follow her.




EDIT: Just noticed I caught a photo of this car earlier before. At least this time I was able to get a glance of the driver.

Not a subie but I think many of us have seen this thing out and about. I found out it lives about 2 blocks away from me.

 

Every morning on my way into work from Excelsior to Eden Prairie I see a Grey 06-07 wrx wagon with black rims driving west on hwy 5 around 5:45am. Dude has a big beard! If your on here it's good to meet you finally!

 

Spotted this guy at Southtown in Bloomington at 320ish? Super clean car!

 

04/05 CGM STI behind me on hwy 10 in Elk River around 4:40. Looked great! Makes me miss mine

 

Black bug eye wagon. Exhaust, other mods, supertones and morettes maybe? Maple Grove off East Fish Lake.

 

Saw a red bugeye sedan going north on 65 while I was going south in isanti or cambridge close to those cities then there was a blue '11+ hatch with black flaps and a rack driving crazily speeding and all that stuff. couldnt catch the guy to give him at least a wave or something too much traffic

 

Good looking silver forester at Target in Champlin, wheels, yellow fogs, front plate delete/relocate.

 

Really clean 06-07 CGM STi pulling in to REI Bloomington about 8pm tonight.

 

08-14? WRB hatch on Vernon close to 169 in Edina around 1130 or so...

 

Sunday about 9:45am on 35W followed a really clean '15 (?) SWP debadged Outback on 35W Northbound near Lake St.

 

A little late, but exchanged waves and rumblez with this guy Friday morning going north on 65 through Blaine/Ham Lake.

 

He was in after those storms a couple weeks ago with some hail damage. Lots of plasti-dip

 

That new/nice of a car and they go with hiding it with plasti dip? WTF...

Thats not even 10 mins from my house. I have plastidip on my hood too and I like how it looks but with his its just a little too much or not enough creativity imo.

 

I saw a black '09+ sti hatch turning onto main st from round lake blvd. Looked stock from where I saw it from but I didnt get a good look at it from where I was at

 

Black 15 sti with red mudflaps on excelsior yesterday around 5. Looked very nice!

I see you there all the time. I used to drive a Silver G35 Sedan with Rims and now a Tan/Gold 01 LGT. My son goes to school right over there.

 

Brought home a 2008 DGM STI

 

Was coming home northbound on 52 just north of highway 42 at ~6:30 PM and saw a Matte Black (Possibly Plastidipped?) 2015+ Subaru WRX. Sadly they were pulled over by the police. Hopefully it wasn't one of you guys.

 

Saw these two up town at a car show this evening. Kinda strange to be in Owatonna, and have never seen either of them (or the two Evo's that were parked with them) in town before. Still kinda cool. Pardon the crappy lighting, the sun was setting on main street so the shadows were funky.





Also thought the wheels on this Evo were pretty sexy 'til I got home and looked up the price. Eff. Camera didn't really capture the offset either.

 

Tailed a 16 DGM WRX new with Bloomington plates down Lyndale into uptown last night about 10:20...he took a left onto Franklin, traded thumbs up right before.

 

Spotted at Silver WRX wagon off Zane Ave at the KT. Then a silver WRX sedan on one the the side roads I gave my little 2.2 a little rev then later a Blue? (I cant remember) WRX with a EVO at McDonalds both sightings in Champlin.

Saw a silver '11+ sedan with a good sounding exhaust on Bunker and tried to give thumbs up. Then saw red 04-07 sti at dennnys in coon rapids. It had a weird exhaust on it from what I saw. Then I saw another 11+only this one was blue at the turn lane of mercy hospital

 

Blue stanced brz at cold stone in maple grove last night. Looked super clean and I loved the wheels. On the way home looked like a dark blue? 06-07 sti lowered with clean wheels in arbor lakes at the stop light. Gave each other the wave, nice looking car!

 

did it have a big white sticker in japanese on the front windshield of it?

 

I think so, I remember there being a white stripe across the windshield but couldn't see what was on it. I want to say the wheels were white too with a huge chrome lip.
