The Official "Spotted" thread v2.0

About 12:30pm today, I saw the most beautiful SJ Forester XT I have seen yet in the Bloomington REI parking lot. DGM, black Enkei(?) wheels, exhaust (Maybe SPT or invidia?), front window tint, emblem overlays, and just was a nicely put together vehicle.
Note: I cruised around it to get a good look at it, but then realized you were still in there. Not sure if you saw me wave, but sorry for being awkward. haha.
Second Note: I came out of the store and saw a brand new Prius parked next to me. I was intrigued, mortified, and grateful (he left a huge amount of space between my doors and his) all at the same time.

 

If it was her (most likely was) we are running an SPT catback.

 

Was down at the 100 Acre Wood Rally this weekend for Morries. Saw literally every year WRX and STI in just about every color. A white 05-09 Legacy GT Wagon (Drool) A LIFTED TURBO 5-SPEED BAJA. A 10-12 silver LGT (Only the third I've ever seen, and I work for a Subaru dealership!

Also, not a subie but a RHD Diesel 2-door Landcruiser. Thing was awesome!

 

Chatted a little with @silver03 on bunker on the way to work today and thanks I wasnt sure how the flowmaster would sound on the Forester after it being on the wrx but I think it was a good choice over the tsudo mega fart can on it that wasnt long enough for the Forester. Also spotted a blue blobeye wagon turning left onto main st from 7th, gave you thumbs up

 

Your Forester sounds outstanding! Maybe even sounds faster than it really is?

 

No SPT for you until all three of your kids have graduated from high school.

 

Probably for now at least. Lol. Its peppy but its a single cam so theres only so much you can do. Hopefully changing up intake and a couple things this summer to help with thatn if money allows, lol

 

Just saw @tangledupinblu on 96! You were eastbound and down. We were heading west in the delivery truck.

 

Drove to Ohio this Wed-Mon, was very surprised to see only 1 STi during my whole trip. Blue STi in Cincinnati area.

 

Switched to LA Fitness recently, and have been going to the Uptown location in Calhoun Square, and the ramp always has at least 3 FR-Ss (2 red, one orange) and a 15/16 White WRX. The WRX looks very clean.

 

Saw a silver/tan 06-07 wrx on Bunker and Radison this morning, I was turning right onto Bunker from Radison and just saw the front end in my side morror

 

It's amazing how many Subarus you see here compared to other states. Two weekends ago I flew to Raleigh, NC and drove to Myrtle Beach, SC. Saw one modified '15ish WRX cruising the strip at the beach, and a bright pink plasti-dipped Legacy on the trip down. Don't even recall seeing many stock Subarus.

 

Saw a DGM or black '12+ Impreza heading north on 169 around 5PM yesterday, avoiding debris in the middle of the highway in Eden Prairie. Tinted windows, I believe tinted taillights, roofrack, lowered, etc. @subiesport15 was that you?

 

spotted a very nice pearly 2012? wrx with black rims at red light in south mpls off hennepin after 62 split. if you're the first car at that light and if you don't go full out from that light you don't make the next one and so so and on and on...

 

Yeah that would have been me. You get your new 16' Impreza yet?

 

I feel like you've done a bunch since I saw you last, but saw you so quickly, I couldn't tell everything. What'd you lower it with?
Got my '16 two weeks ago, already have everything from my '12 swapped on, plus the STi spoiler.

Saw a silver Forester XT turning to go north on 65 from bunker debadged too. Then I stopped in at my part time job and on the way out I saw @Mokamba and chatted for a little bit. Good sounding exhaust too, what did you do to it? Told you my Forester was hard to miss lol. You should also sign up for the LaXcruise its a blast!

 

He has a resonated midpipe and an ISR performance axle back. Not sure how it was retrofitted on but it looks and sounds nice for sure.

 

I love the fozzy man she sounds beautiful finally got to see how it looks lol

 

A turbo would sure go nice with the exhaust

 

Thanks!! It needs a few things here and there mainly rust taken care of but other than that its a fun ride. Could you tell how dark the tint was on it and why I told you its got dark tint? Lol

 

Really clean WRB Sti with gold BBS grabbing some Sonic for breakfast in Elk River. I see you around here pretty often, you must live in the area? Nice ride

 

Spotted a couple subies at discount tire on university just now.

 

What tint is that ?? Mine are 5% all around but you can see through them still , I couldn't see a thing through yours !

 

Im not 100% sure I bought the car like that lol. But I know that the rear windows can be as dark as I want cause its considered a suv. I also know the fronts are technically too dark but I havent had any problems yet and the previous owner that had them done didnt have any problems either so it is what it is lol. The bad thing about the dark tint tho is at night backing up its kinda tough but Ill prolly end up taking the tint off the reverse lights just to give me more light to see

Idk but they are tinted but just plastidip so Im taking the plastidip off the reverse lights to give me more light

 

Saw @briancustoms on 169 before the bridge over the river. Looks good and the sti wing looks good but thought youd be louder. . . lol

 

Maybe the exhaust is quieter on the new car. Next time I'll give it the beans and not concentrate so much on my wave.

 

Nice silver '11+? WRX sedan with exhaust and Aluminatti sticker on the trunk. Exchanged waves as we went over the "Fleet Farm Flyover" on 169s Brooklyn Park.

 

That was me in the '15 DGM STi. That was a cool drive to work - not often do I see another STi, especially another of the same year...and then a '15 WRB WRX on top of it.

I'm on 169 out to Ramsey every g'damn day, so i'm sure i'll bump into you again. You work on 109th and 169, right?

 

I saw a lot of subies today. I saw a silver blobeye wrx wagon at crosstown and bunker and behind me was a black '12+ wrx then saw @Colesteeze with a different color front bumper on the then saw a blue blobeye wrx sedan turning into mercy hospital. Then was behind a white '12+ sedan with aftermarket exhaust it looked like. Then saw another blue blobeye wrx wagon on hanson, we were side by side but they didnt look over

Spotted @MNSnoDrifter on Thursday afternoon on hwy 52, you were headed north and I was going south.

 

Watched a WRB '15+ WRX blow a red light on County Road 30 and Lawndale Lane N at around 2pm on our way to Buffalo today. Good job, dip****.

 

Some Subaru's at Weaver Lake Park yesterday.
