Silver STI '03-'05, in a Taco Bell TV commercial, pulled up alongside the 'good to go' guy's 60s-vintage Valiant or something, to admire his grilled whateverthehell.

Not to be a Jerk but I'm pretty sure the other car was an Impala. Sorry to be rude and I mean no offense. LOL

Seriously, though, I know my Impalas pretty well, and the only Impala that even looked SIMILAR to that car was the '66. But the '66 Impala had four headlights, and I'm pretty sure the car in the commercial only had two. And it was considerably smaller than an Impala, from what I could tell.

I have very little confidence in my claim that it was "a Valiant or something", but if that was an Impala, I will give you a crispy $10 bill.

Also somewhere around 6 and 6:30 I saw a black bug eye going south on 494. exchanged wave as I exited on 394.

yeah, an undisclosed source told me this happens a lot in Edina. I have never had any issues in EP. This same person told me I should have no trouble getting the fine waived if I would go to court. I know I was wrong and will put a plate up front, but the police officer was rude, would not answer any questions OR give me a warning. I'm sure though he was just trying to make quota...after all, it was the 31st. lol

 

Heh don't worry about it. How is the ERZ at highway speed? Sounded nice when you sped up to get in front of me. But does it drone?

Back on topic, I saw the Black STi with the gold SWRT stuff actualyl driving down lexington in eagan yesterday but alas my cosmic blue matrix was not enough to get his attention.

Saw a nice 2005 WRX (WRB) in the Burger King parking lot in Roseville at 11am. Cleveland and Cournty Rd C

 

Not sure what you mean by drone, but I drive it 3 hours up norht to the future inlaws place and it does not bother me a bit. It sounds good all around, idle, under power and at cruising speeds. Swing up to firestone this friday and I will take you for a ride so you can hear it.

Saw a siver WRX pulled over on hwy 100 south at about noon today.
Saw a blue bugeye on hwy 100 north today between 3 and 3:30.

 

Well at highway speeds it will just have a constant 'drone' sound in the cabin. Almost like when an exhaust pipe has a leak. Some exhausts have this.

it is tough to say, you always hear it but, that is how it is designed. If you turn the radio on at a resonable level you can not hear it anymore.
