drove with a wrb bugeye from burnsville to savage.. i was in the black bugeye with peanut butter wheels

Yesterday around 4:30pm on 36th Ave N in Robbinsdale I spotted a *VERY* nice looking GC. Silver in color. I slowed down to watch you drive by in my rearview mirror. I'm hoping you're on the board.

 

my gf said she saw a wrb sti w/ goldies by her house in kato.. lol

I saw 2 wrx's today in chaska. one bug eye with black rims one 06-07 with black rims also. Also saw a STI we flashed each other also in Chaska

 

red 08 Sti on co road c2 and 88, I was in the 04 Wrx that passed you.

09 WRX spotted on 185th st. in Lakeville/Prior Lake. I was the blue sport bike going the other way that gave you the thumbs up. lol

 

at midnight on the nuts i saw blue sti on 169 north right by the 694 interchange by maple grove.

i was going south in my green legacy, too bad no one notices legacy's to take a second look :emo:

 

No no no. mine is pretty darn low, has 18s on it always(never had wrx wheels for it- RS 6 spokes when i bought it which deride owns now and i miss) and its not quiet like hers... i wish i could get her # just for a photo shoot of stock vs beastly when/if mine comes out to play.

 

I've waved to this girl while driving my car also. Seeing another WRX doesn't even phase her. It makes me wonder if she really appreciates what a rare car she has.

 

I think I saw Gridlocked going West on 394 (around Louisiana) last night around 7ish...low fxt, and recognized the wheels from the thread where you couldn't decide between gold and silver.

I like the silver

Oh, and I was going East on 394...so you probably didn't see me. It's just that a modded fxt stands out so much more than a wrx!

Yep, that was me! I had just left Ryan's place and was heading toward E.P. I usually keep an eye out, but I was zoned out listening to the brewers network on a PodCast. I remember seeing someone on the other side of the road in that area and wondered if they noticed the hood scoop... :wavey: a little late. :biggrin:

I can understand, but usually when I wave at a legacy, especially a BD, they just gimme a "wtf you creepin me out" kinda look and it just makes me feel stupid so I stopped. Unless I can see it is cleanly modded and/or sounds mean (not from a rust hole in the exhaust), then I just don't bother.

It's not hard to tell a real enthusiast from a soccer mom or ricer teeny bopper when it comes to the older cars, since it takes a bit more effort to keep them clean and make them stand out. Harder to tell with the newer cars though, since they already look so nice, but if someone driving a newer wrx doesn't wave back, I just assume they are common folk driving the wrong car lol.

 

lol no really dont care, yea its nice to get noticed but its not the end of the world if i dont.

i really wish more people would buy legacys, though. they are sweet cars and look real good with a few suspension mods and a set of tasteful wheels.

Exchanged waves with an asian dude in a 04 - 05 silver STi turning left onto Maryland from White Bear Ave. around 7 something today. I was in the wrb bugeye.
