PS, if we want to try a different spot other than Spring Street, Ray J's is also very close in Northeast. I went there last weekend and they have a ton of good beers on tap and seasonals, good food, parking lot, etc.

I'm down for this, I've been waiting to reply since 8am. Finally got accepted I'm going to be there at 6:30, and I'll probably wait until like 7:30 for any of you guys to show.

My car looks like black and blue were mixed together and then thrown onto it, so a dark-ish blue. 2006 Impreza 2.5i, doesn't look all fancy like the rest of you and your cars, but it's something.

 

Where does everyone initially meet? The parking lot on 5th and main?

Normally yes, but only if the park police roll through... And then you usually have enough time to run to the pay box. It takes cards and cash.

I propose that we start up the winter meets. The sun is dropping earlier and earlier and the weather is starting to degrade.

 

i had no problem with OC. I dont mind stouts either, but in case we have big turnouts I think oc has a bit more too offer when it comes to a place to park. Ive seemed to notice is winter meets have more regulars that show.

 

The only issue is I'm only 20, so I can''t go around and have drinks like the rest

 

What is stopping you from attending the restaurants we attend? Don't always have to drink to have fun you know!

 

What he means is, most of the restaurants that we attend do not card at the door and they only card you if you order a beverage...therefore underagers are welcome to join.

Now, whether you'll have fun around this gang without drinking is another question

Well there were no crazies when I was there...but their wings are delicious. They are whole wings, they have a sweet/spicy sauce, dry rub, and variety of others. Apparently voted best wings by some MSP/STP magazine...but I think Spring Street has won stuff too.

Nothing against spring street, sometimes I just prefer a better beer selection.

 

Beer selection is good and as long as they have wings I'm on board.
Although now that it's winter in MN and I live in St. Paul I am happy to go to stouts instead.

It was nice to see eveyone on Tuesday. Too bad the sun is gone so early and its only gonna get worse. Would there be any interest in any of the places on 394 or 55 near Golden Valley area?

 

Bunnys Bar and Grill is a pretty good spot to go to. Place is always busy though!
