I will actually be in the cities on Sunday, but I'll be with my wife and parents getting back from Frisco, TX. Probably better for you guys anyway, I'll either be an insufferable gloat or inconsolable sob depending on the outcome of the game... GO BISON!!!
I'm in as well. I think both me and wrc10 are heading from the northeast, anyone heading out along the way?
Maybe I havent kept up with the thread but have we chose a start and end location yet?? Surly where are you, we have no direction HELP lol
Better gas up the truck... also... gawdamnit, I just started my cut diet Tuesday. Guess this will be my "cheat meal."
I've been thinking of rolling the floodan down now that it is fully toooned. If so, you can roll with me. -Teeebowner
That would be sweet, Timmy T! Nick and I are working on the mustang after, so you could check that out in greater detail this time around too. All you saw were it's guts sitting on my work bench right?
Heck ya it would...you can fill up Blu instead of the truck! lullz. The guts were on the bench, floor, ,driveway, ceiling...hahaha
I'm in... got my PTO request approved so I am off at 10:30 and can be to the meet up point by 11... if that matters.
I piss 93oct, does that work? Might smell like broccoli, but the ethanol content is high. Hit me up Saturday or Sunday morning and we'll figure it out.
I could have sworn you said meow... Listen here meow... He might be busy right meow... If something isn't up by noon I'll put a plan together... Ok meow.
11:30am at the Perkins off 494 and France in Edina: http://g.co/maps/7ebxt (Note I originally had the map set to Target. It really is at Perkins) Planning to arrive at Lion's Tap in Eden Prairie around 12:15, for those that are not interested in caravaning down: http://g.co/maps/hfvr8 Since my clutch is going out, the cruise will be relatively short and relaxed. Should someone decide they want to do a more involved route after lunch, I can't stop them.
Sure I can! You just watch the powa frumroll I'll throw down on the first tribal Sunfire to cross our path. Oh, also, FRS radios welcome...
That's fine cuz I'm racing the first raper van I see. Maybe ill find the same guy from the mankato cruise. Lol. Ill have a radio. Ill be car ram-rod
Wally-mart has them on the cheap. It's always good to have a set for cruises and rallyx! Hahaha, you win sir. I'll provide my own petrolz...you can buy me a burger tho!
OMG! so ready for a burger! see you all tomorrow...I has no frs at the moment as they are packed somewhere ..and I have no clue where that is.
Just realized I had the map set for Target in Edina as opposed to Perkins. I really meant Perkins, map link updated.
I'm running fashionably late as usual. My wife will be there in a white 09 forester before me. On my way now, need to make a stop yet.
Have to do this next week. Threw husband an epic birthday BBQ bonfire last night and just now woke up.
Good times today.. 2 way radios were a great idea...until we got stopped at the light!! Out of range...
Indeed. Unfortunately those were roads that I couldn't pull over on. One lane highway w/curb for the lose. Awesome turnout today though! I was only expecting a handful of people. I didn't take a headcount but I know we had around 16. Looking forward to next month! Also, if we depart from that location again I think we should move to the parking lot where Circuit City used to be. Much quieter, lots of room...
awesome time! may I suggest the blue door for next month or mayslacks and then duce duce as lady legacy put it.".eat some delicious meat then go have your meat eatin" or something like that.
Yes great turnout officially I believe it was 12-13 Subies and 16.5 members. The burgers were great and even though the group got split I believe we still got to hit the twisty turns... FUN FUN !!! also want to thank the new members who showed up. Without you all we would see is the same old faces. The Blue Door is small and I think it is mostly off street parking... Not sure it is the correct venue for us. I would like to see the next place be out on the east side... So if anyone knows of a great burger place out that way let us know. As for Mayslacks... I think we should hold on to this one until the last stop for burgers then we can head over to the double 2 for some hair growth ... Also the motto went something like this... "no one beats Mayslacks meat" then we can go over to the double 2 to have what ever we want done to our meat
The nook has seating for like 6... maybe 7 if you squeeze lol. Unless the old place burned down and they expanded... or was that the owners' other business? Anyway, keep the ideas coming. They don't have to be hamburger joints either aka boca chica!
5 guys in woodbury should be opening soon (might even already be open), or even the 5-8 tavern for some jucy lucyes. Russ
If we want to try something other than Burgers, might I suggest Quang(Vietnamese), Bucca(Italian), Hoban(Korean).
I think we are trying to keep it themed so burgers for now and other themes will follow. 5-8 Club sounds good I have had a Matt's Juice Lucie but not a 5-8 Lucie. If this is the Consensus I will make contact with them and start to work out a route to cruise.
