I hope my car is done! but even if it is I don't think I'll "race" it

by done, i mean slow! yes, it it currently at GEM getting neutered. I don't know if I'll have the clutch broken in by march 8th if it is done but I may bring it out to do a few fun runs or something (if we do them)

 

rallycrossing it will be a perfect way to break in a clutch!

if i was smaller like you i would offer to give you a hand a "breaking it in" lol

but $$$ I have a $2000 welder to buy, about another $500-$1000 in supplies to get together, and some other equipment.. i currently have $0 for it...

yeah i know, you told me that at the last ice race. i will probably end up driving the shedancer in M4, so when the talon is done later this year i will have some M4 points

To be honest Dan, you had a great run. When you drove past me all I could think was how it looked sooo smooth and well orchestrated. I knew you were going to win M4. I was simply amazed!!!!

You're all getting off easy anyhow. The uber-Sentra will be staying at home. Or at least I won't be driving it (someone else might). I might stop by, might not.

You all probably get a free pass until Corcoran in August. then you can start having nightmares involving an SR20DE at 7,500rpm.

All trash talk aside, I am considering making my life easier this year and not towing the Red Raisin, Suby edition, to all the events.

To that end, I am offering to help you improve through coaching both in and out of the car. I have no class preference but it must be a seat that I can fit in. I would also prefer a car that has competitive tires (winterforce, gravel rally tires, etc.). I would also be looking for a season long commitment. You must also be willing to consider any recommendations I make regarding mechanical changes to the car.

So, anyone want to win a championship as a car owner?

 

well if the definition of "in" also coincides with the definition of "on" then maybe we could work something out :laugh:

Well, the SE-R is available, but might not be for all events (like for instance if the cage is 1/2 welded in), and if I get around to welding the diff, then the same problem exists (towing in). And I won't be competing until COrcoran, most likely, so I won't be towing it in.

And the Winterforces are on the daily driver until the end of March, and even the Kumho soft gravel tires would be a disaster at Thin Ice.

 

What makes you so sure you are going to win a championship this year?? little cocky aren't we?

 

Well, YOU certainly aren't a threat. You fold like a used tissue under pressure. The best way for you to have a chance at beating me is letting Brent drive your car!
