joel's car is going to be wearing STI BBS wheels with 225 rubber.... I'm hoping the tires fit under the fenders. either way, you'll have a lot of rolling resistance for that car's engine brent, I'm still rooting for my wheels and tires though! put them to good use
hankook w300 winter tires. the treads have been cut for better snow performance. they still suck, sorry
yeah, I'll test fit them tonight and make sure they'll fit. I should really go buy a set of winterforce tires for my 15in wheels. I'm just reluctant to spend money on tires I'll only use for rallyx. I'm not too worried, what Brent and I lack in tires we more than make up for with pure skill.
Whiskers showed me how to fix that with a 5 lb hand sledge at LSPR. I would have preferred to have not had learned that.
the man's delusional! maybe there should be a mental screening along with the tech inspection. of course, that would mean none of us would get to race
Come on, then you don't have to worry about abusing the daily tires. BTW you're only half right about the skill thing.
Oh Dan i forgot to mention one of the stipulations of getting the Tlego is you must concede any positions you may acquire ahead of me.
Help!!!! I'm a bonehead and assumed that my winters would fit my Legacy. 205 55 16 on rs 6 spokes are too tall and wide. They hit the spring perches. Anyone have a 195/60/15 winter tire on a 5 x 100 wheel I could borrow for Sunday? Otherwise I will have to run the WRX. pm me ASAP
boom! I am getting better! woohoooo! I did not get last place! improving 12 sec threw out the day I feel pretty good and cant wait to do even better!
Very good results today, although I was hoping to finish a bit higher myself. Anyway I think it's going to be a fun season with some real battles for the top few spots. And yes Derek, you're welcome up in M4 any time.
Congrats to Amy for learning from my mistakes. I wonder what happened to Kevin and Brent? Seems they couldn't back up the Smack! BTW, I did, in fact, help someone win as car owner. It just wasn't quite the way I had in mind. Thanks to all that came out and contributed to a good day playing in the mud.
Hahaha...upon further review of the evidence that Russ has provided us, I don't think that I was the only one having a good time with the "goey foot" yesterday! Lol. It may not provide you with the "best times", but I feel that it does provide you with the "best time"!:naughty::biggthumpup: Btw Mark, you get points from me for being 'stylish'!
Sometimes "slow is fast" and for those used to driving really fast, its a huge step back to go slow enough in these conditions. Guess that means it was a smaller step back to slow is fast for enough for me. Wait, did I just call myself slow? My plan is to be doing a rain dance before every event, in the hopes that the mud continues. And hope that Derek stays the heck out of M4. Thanks to Mark for the tips and really fun runs. He doesn't talk much when he drives, save for the swearing when he misses a gate, for the second time Amy
