I was honestly expecting to hit more! I think I hit 6 on my first run ever (in Joel's car) end of last year. Only took me 1-2 runs to get used to his car... might take me 1-2 events to get used to BOSS . It was fun anyhow. Nice job Carl and Ryan! Also, very nice showing MNSubaru! It is really nice to see MNSubaru/MNSOC members getting involved in these kinds of events... Beats skreet racing for (suburban) "street cred" and bench racing on a forum! Thanks to everyone who volunteered and thanks in advance to those who are stepping up to help SCCA-LOL organize and run future events! The least we can do as competitors and spectators is pull our own weight and help out where we can! If anyone is interested in helping organize, run, direct, or volunteer with any aspect of these events (whether it be event mastering, picking cones, helping with lunch, etc...), please don't hesitate to ask! There are several people on this forum who can point you in the right direction and get you set up with what you need to know to help keep these events running smoothly and help keep this sport alive.
Thanks to everyone that helped put this on! It was great fun, probably had as much fun watching while doing course work as I did driving. I am a bit surprised by the results too, glad I didn't give up and go for "style points!"
MNSOC Donation to Apple Tree Dental On behalf of MNSOC we would like to thank everyone that was brave enough to sample/consume/uke:the lunch MNSOC officers provided. We can assure you the lunches provided by MNSOC officers at future events will be more palatable. :yumyum: Even with that said, MNSOC collected $120 in donations for Apple Tree Dental!!! Thank you very much for your continued support and bravery!!!
Think what we could do if Dan didn't cook! Just kidding... the pasta salad and cookies were very tasty. Amy
