This isnt to take anything away from the NF crew. But Bikerboy has been working on Subarus since before fuji could drive, maybe even walk :D

Definitely before he was doing burnouts on bicycles. Also before the infamous quote, "we gon race!" took root.

Experience by no means makes you near the best in any field.....no arguing with that, we have all run into those people I think......I wasn't pointing fingers at anyone for being better/best/more experienced.

and here comes the nuthugger brigade.

I have no reservations about recommending Matt (Bikerboy) and the crew at RS Motors, and I also have no reservations about the NF crew. I've had both work on previous vehicles of mine and I was very happy with both of them. The Peterson brothers are also top notch.

Outside of those three, I wouldn't bother going anywhere else. I've heard mixed results at best out of MAP.

Matt's been working on subaru's much longer than most have. He will definitely get you set up properly.

Call it what you will...I don't recommend any single person or place.. I just say where I get my work done....

OP, ask around enough and you will hear stories about everyone who works on cars locally, all comes down to your preference.

Folks have legit reasons for recommendations and such. Because someone doesn't agree, makes them a nuthugger? Don't know about that.

Nope, I'm saying now that all the "recommendations" are coming out, expect a lot of nuthugging (for all sides). Everyone has an opinion and different experiences, my post was directed at the OP and is simply a recommendation to talk to people directly about different shops. It's hard to sift through the BS, so hearing stories from customers, many who aren't as inclined to post a public review (good or bad), might get him more usable information than the approach he is taking now.

    Gotcha

But who knows, whatever he decides may work better for him than what others have recommended.

Absolutely. But I really do believe he's going to get more honest feedback "offline." We all do a pretty good job of keeping the public bashing in check and the mod team keeps an eye out as well. Especially when it comes to board sponsors and vendors.

    Lol not talking about that.
What I meant was, if you wanted to get your car checked out at MAP, it may work out better for you. Location, schedule, convient, etc.

I've had good experiences with all of the above.

NF has obviously done a lot of work on my car and I fully support them. It wouldn't be where it is today without them. Go NF!
I did my injectors at RS during a DIY day, and I've had my car dyno'd there. They were very helpful. bikerboy definitely knows what he's doing.
I've had my car dyno'd at MAP twice, bought parts from them, and had them weld an O2 bung into my downpipe. No issues with any of that.
