I'm not criticizing talking about subarus and mods, just getting all high horsey about the stuff is annoying, not to mention "STREET KING/GAME OVERE'D YOU" etc stuff is just macho crapola ego junk, much like a lot of his posts. I'd tell him to meet me on the track one day, but to be honest my car actually passes tech inspection, not so sure about FnF naws cars though. I still thinkit would be fun to compete and a good idea however. I'll look forward to seeing him out there one day.

I'm sorry, but for someone who has a poor grasp on car modding I just think half the stuff he wants to buy is flat out dumb. this is a guy who was rolling on RE70's in the winter and talking about not being able to afford non suicide tires who also wants to put outrageously expensive crapola all over his car for god knows what reason... I think he deserves some ribbing for that. I'm not against modding you car, but jesus h christ, putting a takata 5 point harness that costs literally twice waht any FIA approved one does in a car that doesnt have a roll bar because some japanese dude has one? Carbon fiber rear splitters? that %$#@!%$#@!%$#@!%$#@!e is ridiculous to me. If I had that much nitrous I'd spend my money on tuning, a knock controller and start saving up for replacement engines. whe i see a guy just talking about just doing clutch drops ad nauseum while putting a 200 shot of nitrous in his car that his rich daddy gave him as a present, it just tells me all I need to know.

I'm not making him out to be the king of the %$#@!%$#@!%$#@!%$#@!ehill or anything, but I'll poke fun where it deserves to be poked. This is OT, we are allowed to poop fling a bit here. not filling it ewvery week, and long term not too cheapo when stuff breaks or blows up... though I have seen many a car setup properly with NOS run reliably and fast back in Australia... I am on the fence with NOS... I see it both ways... just not willing to risk the engine etc in my daily driver.... maybe my RX7 when it gets done on 10 yrs...

its too bad i lost that pic of the ej25 on spray, that didnt last. IIRC there was a fist sized hole in the block. that would be my #1 reason not to spray. also nitrious just seems kinda FnF to me your gaining power but to do it you are increasing the temps inside the motor dramtically, which will lead to parts failure (floor panel falling out). and becuase the subaru ECU is conveintly located behind the exact floor panel that will fall out!

IMO there are better ways to get more power for instance doesnt alcy injection lower engine temps and also add more octane for higher boosting?
