I can honestly say I probably would of frozen. It's one thing if your adrenaline is already up and you're expecting a fight/flight type of situation. In this case, most people were just sleeping/napping on the bus. A scream is going to make you jump and then be confused...

I can see what you mean. I know he had a knife and all, but think of what could have been if a couple people would have stepped up. Maybe the guy would still be alive. It could go the other way though too. Just makes ya think..what if

Exactly. In the time it took for people to realize what was going on, the victim was already dead or well on his way to it. It's easy to say after the fact and when you weren't there what you would or wouldn't do. Hell, even if I'd have had my .45 I'd have been hesitant to shoot for fear of hitting someone behind the attacker. From what I heard, the scream/moan was from the victim, and it was because his airway had been ruptured, and likely at least one if not both of the major blood vessels in the neck. The odds of survival would've been very low, and that's if he'd have stopped at those wounds. I don't think there's any way you can plan for something like this, up until this point it was outside the realm of comprehension...

Some crazy a$$ people out there. He was apparently holding the head and walking around the bus. I couldn't even imagine what it would have been like to see that or to have been there. Insane

I've seen some gruesome stuff in my time but that would've been the topper. Jesus. I have a hard time even imagining it.

Related video (Don't worry, it's not footage from the scene):

I don't think I would have run toward the danger, I'm pretty sure I would have been one of those helping every other person on that bus get the hell off.

    +1

I have no problem with running towards danger, but there's different types. Rushing a psycho who just decapitated a guy isn't worth the risk or reward, whether it's by myself or in a crowd. I'll save who I can and help keep the guy contained.

No, that's not the link. I have no desire to see anything like that, I've seen enough stuff that haunts me in my sleep now and then. Trust me when I tell you that you will enjoy the link.
