so on my way home i threw a po103 mass air flow sensor high input. and i'm wondering is this commen amungst subarus? second do i just clean the sensor or replace it?
when you were driving home did you go through any huge puddles? Just guessin, but could be your MAF got some moisture which caused the sensor to cool and give a false signal/reading. Just a suggestion...take out the MAF, clean it with MAF cleaner, install. reset the code
no i din't hit any puddles but there was that huge storm so maybe i cleaned the sensor and it is stumbling a little. did notice that it was quite dirty so maybe i'll just put the old intake back on.
Your not going to gain anything with an aftermarket intake without a tune. Even then, it's not really worth it.
Yeah...I now turn the car off all the time in the wash...even though I did for most of the time when I was in there and got the code. I also have the K&N filter cover/drycharger sleeve to cover it from moisture. I usually just take it back off a few hours later once all the moisture is out of there. Hasn't tossed a code at me since.
