thanks guys for the quick responses. Aaron, i don't recal you ever requesting a date to tint. I've been overloaded with emails and whatnot so i'm sorry if i missed it, do you have a requested date/time?
So it looks like I'm first up, and the price will be 160? Anyone have opinions on tint% I think I want to go 35% I have 20 on my truck and I don't want it that dark. I was looking for something a little more subtle but have heard most people that go with 50% just end up having done darker. Also is there someone I should talk to when I get there or anything?

Ohh yeah, talk to trung if he's present. He's my contact I'm going through and is very knowlegable. I think i'm doing 35% to but still not too sure. He can definately give you good info. And yes, the price is the $160 price point, we didn't quite eek out a few more guys. Still a bargain IMO.
yeah, today was the only day i could really do it. so i called and they said come on by. drove about an hour to get there, but it was worth it. i got a two door. 35 up front and back windows. also 20 on the rear side windows. i love it! i have to learn how to post up pics first before i can put them up.
Will it be a problem to do 3 different levels? I'm think of 20 on rear window, 35 back doors and 50 on front doors.
Got my car done this morning! I went 35% all around and its exactly what I was looking for. The guys were really nice and even knew a few people who live on my street.(small world) :biggthumpup:
WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm back from getting my windows tinted. OMG I love it. The guys were super nice and did a great job. They were even impressed that a girl was a member of MN Subaru. :biggrin: I'll post some pics tomorrow. I'm in love with my car :laugh:

Is it too late to get in on this, prices seem pretty good. I want to get all 7 windows done but there is a little defect in my rear hatch glass. I am going to the Brooklyn Park dealer on Tues. to have it looked at. I think they will have to replace the glass so I will obviously have to wait on the tint till that gets fixed. Kimmigt looks good, what % did you go with? I am the guy with the wagon from the legacy meet we had a while back.
I too would like to know if it is too late to get in on this. My wife just gave me the go-ahead on friday.
as for the new guys, i don't see why it would be a problem getting you guys in, there is a 2 week leniency, i'll post back for a complete answer tomorrow.
Got mine done on saturday...looks terrific and no problems as of today. The guys were fast and friendly. Overall very good experience.
Had my apt. at Brooklyn Park today, they need to replace the rear glass. Brian was there and ordered it already, should be in next week sometime. Who should I contact about scheduling? Hopefully I can make it within the two week leniency.
Yep, I saw that. What are their hours during the week and on Saturdays? I checked their site but it does not list their hours. Shorten said the new rear glass should come in on 5/30 or 5/31 and then I have to find time to drop my car off. How should I set up the scheduling? I really hope the new glass gets installed right away and I can make it before 6/3.
hours are 10-6pm monday through Friday, and 10-4 on Saturdays. The shop is gone this weekend for a carshow in chicago. Otherwise you can call them and schedule or suggest a time on here and i'll put you up on the board. thanks, bryan
35%. it's looks a little darker in the picture. the trunk i'm not 100% sure about yet. i like it sometimes, but other times i miss the damn thing back there chasing me. /shrug, i had the tumbler re-keyed so i can swap trunk lids back and forth if i get the urge.
Well I dropped my car off today to get the rear glass replaced. They didn't have any loaners so instead I get to drive a Chevy Aveo for the day; my car is going to feel like it has a jet engine after driving this thing. I had hoped to get in for tint on Fri. but I am not going to be able to get out of work. I could maybe do Saturday morning right away at 10:00am. Can you check if that time works. Thanks
