I'm gonna meet my buddy in Askov today to pick up my winter tires. I'll give you a ring when I know about what time I'll be heading out there.

Its the Walbro GS341. Its a direct fit.

Been making progress though. Getting little things worked out like fuel stuff, my compressor outlet, PCV stuff, and a start on the wiring.

Well, been chugging along as much as I can. I won't be able to drive it home for christmas, but for shure the ice race. Most of the wiring is figured out, just a few loose ends to figure out. Inlet plumbing is done, aside from a nipple welded on for the pcv. I just couldn't resist painting it

Other stuff too, but I dodn't feel like typing a whole lot right now, so I'll let the pics do the talking.

I put the MAP sensor behind the strut tower, and chux masseged a hardline to go right up near the sourceon the throttle body. I put larger bungs in that cheap catch can since the holes inside were only about 1/8". Miller Hill Subaru got me the a slave cyl for a NA car, so more waiting for one

Hmmm, lots of other stuff, but its late, and I need a beer...

As for the running part, the car is back at mike's to get figured out. It won't be done for the ice race, but I'm seriously thinking about heading up there with the Jeep.

Sorry for the quick hijack... GO GT30's!!!

We took it on it's maiden voyage tonight. I must say I am very impressed even at only 3500RPM running off of wastegate =) Car is pretty much entirely back together minus a few interior trim pieces around the doors and such.

Well, it runs. It sounds pretty nice, I think. I've got a lash adjuster that likes to go flat once and a while, so I get a tick every so often, then it goes away. Its also rich as hell right now, but I've been playing with it and have gotten most of the off-boost area in or near the 14's. I'm surprised how well the turbo comes on, although its short lived. I'm keeping it under 4-4500rpm for quite a while. I'm running off the wastegate actuator which is supposed to be 9psi, and I'm seeing 7-7.5 in the manifold, so that seems about right. It feels nice though:biggrin:

There's still alot to do though, besides the body, hehe. I need regular hood pins because the locking ones don't have enough room. I'm gonna go back and redo some hoses and routing of wires. I've got a pile of interior trim to put in yet, and I need make a bezel for the zeitronix display. And the list goes on.

    Now for t3h g00d stuff

You finish that car and then bring it down to my side of town for a hack-ass paint job.

Haha, something may need to be worked out.

I might need to redo my up/downpipes and turbo outlet. A couple people have told me I'll end up blowing a rear seal on my turbo if I leave it cocked like that for too long. People with plenty of experience with these garretts. Apparently, quite a few of the perrin kits have blown real seals due to the angle of the turbo. f@ck sh!t gad dammit.

I could do it in a weekend, or maybe in a long day, with the right equipement availible (fobia);)

    arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrg
