I've got a couple sets and some randoms tools around that I am selling. Anything I ship is sent via USPS Priority Flat Rate shipping, and comes with insurance and tracking. Generally it will arrive in 2-3 days to wherever you are in the states. All prices include shipping! I accept PayPal only for payment. Please PM me if you have any questions, want more photos, or information on what I am selling.

The reason for selling the used socket sets is because I am upgrading them to some ultra-expensive professional brands because I'm a tool nerd. The socket sets have served me very well and never failed me, so they'll be good for a lot of you too.

First up is a used 15 piece Craftsman 3/8 drive Metric Socket. All sockets are the high quality Made in the USA ones (not the newer Chinese made sets). This is a complete set of sockets with no skips from 6MM to 20MM and all of the sockets are 6 point and have off-corner engagement allowing you to apply more torque to a fastener safely. Of course these come with a lifetime warranty at any Sears. This set has been used, but is in great condition, and most of the sockets have just sat in my toolbox (only used 8, 10, 12, 14 and 17MM sockets from this set, rest are unused). You can't buy a socket set as complete as this from sears- I had to piece it together from open stock which is much more expensive, so the sale price represents a huge savings on your part! They are also the easy to read sockets with large laser etching so you can quickly identify which socket you picked up (VERY helpful)!$34.99 Shipped

I have a 3/8 drive Craftsman USA MADE ratchet. Lifetime warranty at Sears and has a quick release feature to easily remove sockets from this ratchet! This is BRAND NEW and has never been used. Came as part of a set but I already have ratchets that I use. I did take the liberty of putting some lubricant inside of it to make it smoother and help it last longer. $14.99 Shipped

Next is a used 14 Piece 1/4 Drive Craftsman/Armstrong DEEP 6 point Metric socket set. This has sizes 4MM to 15MM (along with sizes 4.5 and 5.5MM) with no skips so you will always have the socket you need! They are also deep for increased reach/access overlong studs. Once again, they are MADE IN THE USA (not like the newer Chinese sets). They are 6 point and have off-corner engagement for better grip on fasteners. Only the 8, 10, and 12MM sockets are used, the rest have just sat in my toolbox. All the sockets (used and unused) are in great condition. You can't buy a set as complete as this from Sears, and piecing it together from open stock is expensive, so save time and money by getting this set! Three sizes (4.5, 5.5, and 15MM) are from Armstrong (the company that made Craftsman sockets in the US) so they match closely in appearance. I have pictures below of a Craftsman/Armstrong socket next to each other. They are also the easy to read sockets with large laser etching so you can quickly identify which socket you picked up (VERY helpful)! The Armstrong have a circular laser etching whereas the Craftsman have a square etching. $29.99 Shipped

I have one Brand new Martin 8in adjustable wrench. These are made in the USA by Western Forge (same company that makes SK and Craftsman adjustable wrenches). It's high quality and has very little slop in the jaws compared to many imported adjustable wrenches. Great to have in the shop or car. $14.99 shipped

I have Seven Kobalt 13 in 1 aluminum Ratcheting screwdrivers for sale. These are BRAND NEW. They come with 1 ratcheting screwdriver (blue anodized aluminum) and 12 Screwdriver bits and 1 magnetic bit extension. They also have a lifetime warranty at any Lowes! I don't need to tell you how nice it is to have a ratcheting screwdriver! $9.99 Shipped for the first one. An additional $4.99 for each additional screwdriver ordered in the SAME order.

I have a BRAND NEW Craftsman 13 piece Spade bit set (for drilling holes in wood). It have sizes 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 13/16, 7/8, 15/16 and 1in and they are made from high speed steel for strength and longevity. They have nice large, clear markings to help you grab the correct one. They also are machined so that they will quickly pop into almost any impact driver/drill (look at last picture). $13.99 Shipped!

Next is a new 6 Piece Pittsburgh screwdriver set with a lifetime warranty at any Harbor Freight. They have 3 Phillips and 3 flat head (1 stubby in each!). This would be a great starter set of screwdrivers. These are either $7.99 shipped by themselves or 2.99 when bought with something else!

Also have a few cheap add on items. I have 3 NEW Proto Professional 1/2 drive 15/16 sockets 12 point (made in USA, industrial quality tools) and 1 NEW Armstrong 3/8 drive 26MM 12 point socket (also made in USA). All 4 are great quality sockets. Each socket individually usually retails for about $10+ shipping each, but because I want to get rid of them, I'll sell them for $2 each when you buy anything else. So buy something else, add one socket for $2 (specify which one you would like, either the 26MM or the 15/16in socket).

Craftsman/Armstrong 14 piece 1/4 drive 6 point metric socket set. They are a mix of craftsman and Armstrong sockets (craftsman USA sockets are made by Armstrong, both brands have lifetime warranties), but they all look very similar. They are all made in the USA and are laser etched with large numbers so it is easy to read and see what size you have! The craftsman have square laser etching while the Armstrong have round, and I have pictures to show the difference below. All are in good condition, and only the 8 and 10mm sockets have been used. This is a great quality set compared to the Chinese made sets that sears sells. You can't buy a set as complete as this anyway, you have to piece it together with open stock (which is expensive) so save time and money buy this set! $29.99 shipped

1/4 Drive socket set SOLD. Some new stuff below ;)

I also have a 15 Piece Craftsman/Armstrong 3/8 drive deep metric socket set that is MADE IN THE USA! It has sizes 6MM to 20MM with no skips. All sockets are 6 point with off corner engagement for better grip on a fastener! They are a mix of craftsman and Armstrong sockets (craftsman USA sockets are made by Armstrong, both brands have lifetime warranties), but they all look very similar. The craftsman have square laser etching while the Armstrong have round, and I have pictures to show the difference below. This is a great quality set compared to the Chinese made sets that sears sells. You can't buy a set as complete as this anyway, you have to piece it together with open stock (which is expensive) so save time and money buy this set! The blue socket holder DOES NOT come with the sockets. So it is sockets only, no holder. $45 shipped!

Craftsman 5 Piece Bolt out set for removing rounded nuts/bolts. You hammer these on, then use a ratchet, sock and ratchet, or wrench to twist off the rounded nut/bolt. The insides of these sockets have reverse spiral fluting so that as you turn them to the left (to loosen) the extractor bites in more and takes off the rounded nut/bolt. These are MADE IN THE USA. I've used a different set many times to much success before! They are brand new and come in the factory packaging. $15 shipped

Craftsman 17 Piece 1/2 drive metric socket set. All are 6 point and MADE IN THE USA. Sizes from 9MM to 25MM with NO SKIPS. You can't buy USA made sets at sears anymore, they are all chinese made sets. They have off corner engagement and are 6 point so they are much less likely to round off nuts or bolts. 1/2 drive means these are heavy duty sockets for some serious wrenching. They are all in good condition, and only the 10, 12, 14, 17, and 19MM sockets have been used. The rest are unused. The 19MM is probably in the "worst" shape of them all (used the most), but it still is in all reality, in great shape. It has some rust on the inside of the socket, and a few dings in the chrome (pictures below). You also can't get a set as complete as this from Craftsman- I pieced it together with open stock, which can be very expensive. Save some time and money and get this set instead! There are 3 armstrong sockets (23, 24, 25MM). All sockets (armstrong and craftsman) have the large, easy to read laser etching size markings on them. Very handy to have. $75 shipped The blue rail pictured DOES NOT come with the sockets. They will ship loose, albeit well packaged.

I'm always paranoid that when i ship sockets loose the packaging might somehow be damaged a few of them slip out. So I end up bagging them multiple times to make sure that doesn't happen! Glad to hear you like them!

1/2 drive socket set still up for grabs. It is OBO for anyone interested.

6 piece set of Vise Grips by Irwin. Sizes are 10WR, 7WR, 2 7R, 7CR and a 9LN (the number denotes length in the part numbers just listed). They long nose (9LN) and the 10WR are lightly used, but in good shape (the 9LN has some staining on the jaws, not sure what from, but doesn't affect functionality!). The rest are new and unused, they just have been sitting in my toolbox. No longer need these as I bought some Snap On locking pliers to replace them. These are also the models that have the hex opening in the adjustment screw so you can use a hex bit to tighten these down even more after they have been locked. Only type of locking pliers to offer that. $55 shipped for all 6 of them (usually $12-$16 each individually from a store).

Ratchet not included, just to demonstrate how the hex adjustment works.

Gearwrench Mid length socket set, 3/8 drive, sizes 6MM to 15MM with NO SKIPS. These are not shallow sockets, and not quite deep sockets. They are stronger than deep sockets (due to their slightly shorter length), but have more clearance than a shallow socket for fasteners with a stud sticking out, or that are more recessed. Some people use mid length sockets instead of buying a deep and shallow set. The 12MM socket is the only one that has been used, and is very useful for removing the belts on the front of the engine (AC belts) with the radiator and fans still installed. Perfect size for it. The 14MM works well for the rear shifter bushing swap on manuals. All are in excellent shape. I will ship them with the blue rail pictured (it is "broken", as the nub that is supposed to stick out from it broke off, and I filed it down close to flush, it is 100% functional however). These also have off corner engagement on the sockets for better grip on the fastener with less chance of rounding it off. $35 Shipped OBO.

    Packaging them right now!

I took a look through my toolbox to see what would come up for sale in the near future....

Some SK 3/8 drive deep sockets, from 16MM to 19MM, no 20MM and a 21MM. Those will go up in a few days. I might tack them onto the gearwrench mid length socket set so that it will be a complete set from 6MM to 19MM with a 21MM thrown in.
1/2 drive deep metric socket set might be a few months before I have the funds to buy an SK set, and sell my Craftsman set.

After that I'll start upgrading my SAE sockets from Craftsman to SK. Probably not much interest for the SAE sets here. That will be probably late 2014 when that starts happening.

Metric Ratcheting wrenches will be early 2015 IF I like the design SK releases this October. SAE sets will follow soon after.
Craftsman screwdrivers (the hard handled basic ones) may go for sale whenever I find a good Snap On or Proto Duratek set for sale. Most likely a few months away still.

That's what my tool buying/selling plan looks like right now. Of course it has been known to rapidly change when a good deal all of a sudden comes up! I'm starting to get to the bottom of the tools I want to upgrade!

Awesome, could be interested in the ratcheting wrenches (metric and SAE most likely, good to have both at times) when they come up, never bad to have a couple in the kit, especially when half my old Craftsman kit was destroyed by a tipped car battery years ago.

The gearwrench set now has the SK sockets added to it, making it a complete set from 6MM to 19MM and a free 21MM thrown in too.

These also have off corner engagement on the sockets for better grip on the fastener with less chance of rounding it off. The SK sockets are brand new and have never been used before. They have a factory coat of anti rust pain on the inside of the sockets (the white stuff) that comes off after a while. That is why only part of them have the pale white covering on the inside. $50 Shipped OBO. I'll throw in a free 21MM SK deep socket too (used)!

I have a well used Snap On SL80 ratchet. It is 1/2 drive and 15 inches long. These are the ratchets that snap on refers to as "Dual 80" technology ratchets. 80 teeth, and rated to somewhere close to 700 Ft-lbs of torque for strength (ie, it's way stronger than you need!). This also has one of the smoothest ratchet mechanisms I have ever used, and by far has the lowest backdrag of any 1/2 drive ratchet I've used (ever had a nut/bolt that spun so freely that the ratchet wouldn't drive it in or remove it and you had to hold the socket in order to make sure the socket and fastener spun the correct way, and the ratchet would actually ratchet? The lower the backdrag, the less scenarios you have to hold the socket because the friction is lower in the ratchet mechanism. Very useful). The long handle helps apply more torque of course. I just took it apart, cleaned and lubricated it. It is in perfect mechanic/operating condition. The chrome is in GOOD condition, however it shows signs of good use. No gouges, dents, or rust, but the chrome certainly has plenty of small "micro-scratches" from normal use (look closely at the pictures to see them, they are present pretty much on the entire ratchet, as is normal with a used chrome ratchet). It's hard to capture via camera, but the ratchet is in good condition cosmetically, and perfect condition mechanically. This is made in the USA, and probably the best ratchet you can buy. $85 shipped

Local pick up is also available for everything I sell. I am in Plymouth!
I have an SK 1/2 drive "Tuff 1" ratchet. 72 teeth for a 5 degree swing arc with 17 teeth engaged at a time for extra strength (for comparison, most other ratchets have 3 teeth engaged at a time, with nicer ones having 7,8, or 9 engaged)! This ratchet is used, but in great condition! The chrome finish is bright and shiny. It does have a few scratches consistent with normal use. Ratchet works in both directions and switches directions easily. Great professional quality ratchet. $40 shipped.

13 piece craftsman metric wrench set. Sizes 7MM to 19MM with no skips. These are all the USA made wrenches, not the current Chinese made wrenches you can buy in store (the chinese ones have much larger open ends making them hard to get in tight spots, the USA made ones are slimmer for better access). They are 12 point box ends that have off corner engagement allowing you to apply more torque to a fastener. Sizes 7MM to 18MM are regular craftsman, and the 19MM is a craftsman industrial. All are still USA made. The box ends are also offset slightly to allow you to reach a fastener and clear obstructions with your hand and wrench. This set has every size you will need to work on your Subaru (8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19) plus many more sizes for others makes of vehicles and general maintenance/repair. This set is brand new. The 18MM wrench has a light size stamping on the open end (look at pictures), but it obviously doesn't affect functionality, and the wrench is stamped 18MM in other places so you cans till identify size. $40 shipped
