Thanks for the inquiry! I would love to organize dyno days within our facility. We purchased the dyno because it we felt it would become a great asset to the community. At the same time, it fits the bill on what we require. (Load based, accurate tuning, high horsepower capabilities). FYI: The Dyno Dynamics brand of Chassis Dynamometers are considered to be stingy. They typically read 10-15% lower than comparable Dynojet numbers. We as a company, do spend a lot of time racing at the track, so those are the numbers we race. Thanks again Todd for the inquiry, we are looking forward to the Dyno day. (even though its on a Sunday ). If anyone has any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me via email: [email protected] or pm me. Those involved with the dyno day that Todd is scheduling, contact him or myself with questions. Thanks again.
Nice chatting with you Josh. All of us are really excited about the dyno/tune day at your shop with the new dyno. Todd
I just got off the phone with Josh earlier tonight and I can't wait to meet up with everyone...I may bring my Service manager from WB cuz he is also a big fan of tuning cars in general. Sorry Josh for making it Sunday =(
Well this is tuning into a large event it appears. We might have to break out the grill for this one.
Dizmal, Great! AWDImprezaL, No, not this weekend, but the weekend of April 22-23. Josh, this is shaping up nicely and I think the grill is in order!! Give me a call or PM me once you get that bad boy dyno installed and I'll come up and meet you and the team in person. Todd
Let me know too when the dyno gets installed...I may pull some runs to see a before and after the tune...If it is all setup...I would love to meet the LSE Team...oh and of course you to Todd...haha
Ray, We'll probably try and keep the schedule as it, b/c I'm not sure how long RichWRX will need with his tune. I had heard esperunit wanting to swap to Sat b/c of work conflicts, but everyone else should stay the same. Probably 2 on Sat and 4 on Sunday. Of course there could be a few more on Sat I'm sure. I'll let you know when the dyno is installed and I get the call from Josh @ LSE. Should be a good time. Not sure why you'd want before and after dyno pulls since during the tune you'll get a baseline and then a finished dyno pull.
I might still need to switch but there is a strong chance i wont be driving the yellow GC anymore then and instead i'll need an Acessport tune... Dont want to let the cat out of the bag yet. I need to hurry up and pay. i'll do it at lunch today, i'm playing phone tag with topspeed
Edit: I paid but I am going to have to withdraw. This isn't going to work out for me. I have way too much stuff that is just popping up and going to happen for me to do this. Besides the fact that it was moved up from May to April is what really fubar'd this for me. Sorry Todd.
Esper, let me know if you've paid and I'll mark you off the list. Ray, I understand. I'll let you know when I find out and you can meet up with me. Dizmal, I understand. I will remove your name from the list. Todd
So is there any openings?? I have someone that is interested in getting a utec tuned. Let me know asap. Russ
WRX1-Check with Todd, he is doing the scheduling. We are figuring to be here Saturday and Sunday until the tuner wants to go home . (maybe friday as well).
WRX-1, here is the original thread on iwsti.com where I'm posting a lot of new info. http://www.iwsti.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42361 Let me know if your friend wants in. We have 2 slots left, but I'll need more info. Todd
Speedemon, I think I just added the last guy to the list. Of course, there are some variables here like: How long will RichWRX's tune will take (we have him down for 3 slots now) Will everyone keep the date? Would you like me to put you as a stand by? I'm sure Doug would go above and beyond to accomodate any straggles as long as time permits.
We just got a pretty sweet delivery tonight. The Largest Load Capacity Chassis Dynamometer in North America!! Setup will be tommorrow, it should be in full swing by the weekend. Here is where the magic happens. Each one of those boxes is capible of retarding 600whp. Add that up, and you get the highest loading capacity dyno in North America. 1200whp, either axle, or 2400whp for an AWD vehicle. This is load tuning, not just doing "pulls". It can graph double what it can load. The LSE Family. From Left to Right. Justin, Ryan, Josh (me), John, Pattie, Kyle. Around here, when you get sent to "the corner" it isn't a punishment .
YEA! WOOOHOOO!!! Guys you do not know how excited I am to see that big boy arrive...Can't wait for Tune Day!
Probably about 3/4 as excited as I am. I slept for 2 hours last night, and I probably won't go to sleep tonight. Adreneline overload!
I knew you would be excited!!! Speed...I'll add you as an alternate, but check out http://www.iwsti.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42361 for all updates. Todd
I allmost had to cancel, all the new hydras had bad processors and the new ones wont be out until late june. But I found a 05 hydra and will have it converted to a 04, so im back in
Close, but not quite that high. I've got the dyno sheet at home, I'll post the numbers this afternoon. I did the test on 92 Non-Oxy with a Stage 2 91 Octane map (give it a little safety margin). After the pro tune, I'll re-dyno and see what the numbers are.
Josh, is there a why you could post a print out of the run? I don't have an electronic copy. A "print screen" should save it as a bit map file which can be saved as a jpg by most graphics programs.
