I was wondering as I crossed 50k, what would be the best fluids to use for the trans and diffs. After hearing how much Subi wanted to change them out I figured I would do it myself. I read on another thread about, Uncle Scotty's Transmission Cocktail, but thought I would see what the best for each would be.
I'm using xtra s in my tranny no problems in my old 5 speed it actually fixed a syncro that was giving me a fit Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk

So after reading up on some other forums and checking around here last night, I think I will go with the Extra-S. The only problem I was having, as others were as well, is where to find it in something other than a gallon or more. Does anyone know a good site to find quarts? Also is this the same as the rear diff fluid or should I just pick up the Subaru factory fluid? Since I forgot to post it in my original post, I have a 05 WRX with the 5MT and stock diffs. Thanks for the info so far.
