Transmission seems to have blown up today.

    Neutral switch is used for mostly for cruise control. If you accidently pull it out of gear with the cruise control on it will turn the cruise off. Lower "quality" cars such as every Honda/Acura I've owned :( still tries to gain speed if you take it out of gear without touching the clutch or brake. Meaning the engine starts reving up to gain speed even though the car is in neutral.

    i can set my cruise in neutral and the engine will just rev...why is that? the switch doesnt really work that way?

    I always thought that that was a clutch switch...not a neutral switch that turned off the cruise. Same switch that is used for starting in gear when you push the clutch in.

    dogboxes don't need attention if you drive them correctly, thats why they use them in semis. duh.

    I didn't buy a WRX to drive like a whimp. I wanna drive it! Semis are built for a lot more torque than a little 2 liter can put out, I mean typically, right?. PM you the guy's #

    well.. semis dont have syncros because they put so many miles on they dont want to have to replace them.

    Maybe install LGT gears?
