yup for sure. we need ppl. its 260$ and on sat sept 13. everyone who said "they might" we need a yes or no answer set in stone its coming up fast and its really not helpful to say maybe so man up and make a yes or no answer.
Sorry guys, bikerboy (Matt from RS Motors) left me a message yesterday saying that Sept 13th is called off because they hadn't received enough deposits yet and Jorge was booking something else for that day instead. Last I heard Matt had only received 2 deposits, although there were at least 6 people who'd *said* they were interested - I think a couple more of you were on the verge of putting down deposits, but we were too slow. Jorge can't waste his time/money coming to MN if he doesn't know for sure the customers are going to be there, and the only way he knows for sure is if we put down deposits early enough for him to plan his trip. So we're going to try again for Oct 11th. Same deal: we need to put $260 deposit down using Paypal to [B][email protected][/B]. If enough people put down deposits early (4 or more people), Jorge will come to RS Motors in Burnsville. This time, let's plan to have all our deposits in by Aug 31st!! The first ones to put their deposits down are first in line for a tune; just posting a response in a forum saying "Yo I'm in!" doesn't count for anything. For those of us who had already put down our deposits for Sept 13, we can either leave the deposit down if we're interested in Oct 11, or else let bikerboy know and he'll refund it to you. I left mine down because I still want a Jorge tune, even if I have to wait 4 more weeks! Thanks, Dan
Dan, moving foward...if you have any issues with hand raisers please let the moderator staff know. For people that are interested in the tune or any group buy/discount...make sure you are sincerely interested and have the means to pay for the item/service before you jump on the bandwagon and raise your hand. With that said...don't say you'll do something and later back out on these events. Not cool!
I will be down as long as my hybrid build is built and broken in by then. Also, as long as my V1 AP will work for the hybrid...but I wouldn't be able to drop the cash until mid September.
Alright, another change of plans... October 11th won't work for Jorge, so we're going to try for Oct 18th. Matt talked to Jorge and that's the soonest date that will work. I started a new thread under the Events forum at http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27362 to get rid of the conflicting info in this thread, and hopefully there more people will see it. Sorry about the confusion. But we still have a good chance to get Jorge to come!
