I think he got Legacy style turbo so there are only couple options for turbo upgrades.

Yup, that's true if he's got an 08+ like you. Less options :(.

He got 05+ Legacy GT, same set up as I have. I think he was thinking VF52 vs. 18G set up. It's $500 diference in price for new turbos and ~30whp peak power. I am very happy with my 18G.

Yup, I have 05 LGT, so I'm limited on choices. I thought about going FMIC so I could run wrx style turbo, maybe even that HTA from FP.
I already have a Perrin TMIC though, and my goal is about 300whp, so I think I'll just stick with top mount. I have to remind myself this is just my daily driver station wagon after all.
So, I'm deciding between VF52 $800; PDX has a couple LGT style turbos available now, about $850; and over on the legacy boards there's a used td06-18g 8cm. I do want quick spool, and I'm not sure how that td06 with the 8cm^2 would be, but I'm sure it would have more top end than the other choices.

I already have 650cc injectors, and plan to just use the stock fuel pump, same as 03subyR did.
