Hey everybody, I’ve done some digging around but would like further information, I recently just picked up a 2002 Impreza rs with blown headgaskets as a project to flip, on the tear down I had found out that the motor had gotten hot and took a chunk from the piston making the motor unusable. I have found a ej253 from a 99’ forester, my question is can I use just the block and heads from the 99’ and use it in my 02’ with ease, I’d be using the original intake manifold, fuel lines, p/s pump and a/c compressor that came off of the 02’? Also found out that one of the heads from the 02’ may not be fixable due to the warping, any help would be appreciated, thank.
