    Hey guys
just had some bad news from RS motors. It looks like I have issues with the up pipe / down pipe and manifold on my v4 sti. Looks like it's a leaking pipes / cracked pipes issue that's going to cost $1500 plus shipping and fitting.
I just can't spend that on the car so any ideas? I guess I can get most of it welded but apparently the flex connector of one of the pipes is also leaking.
    Any advice is welcomed!
    Thanks
    Munky

You can pretty much use the ones from the wrx/sti, stock or aftermarket

    Wow I didn't know that! 2.0 and 2.5? Or just 2.0 turbo?
    Also any cost effective suggestions?
Thanks and sorry for asking so many dumb questions!

2.0 and 2.5 share the same headers

even the old legacy 22t uses the same stuff

    Bad news man!
The WRX and STI 02-07 uppipes/dps are interchangeable. THe cheapest way to go will be to get used ones off Craigslist, I saw a stock '04 WRX UP+TBE for $150 OBO last week...
Otherwise the cheapest aftermarket UPs are HKS and Greddy I think for about 110-120 bucks or so. The cheapest aftermarket DPs I've seen are catless for around $250.
    Not sure about manifolds though...
    Good luck!
