Its true, my black Stiggermoon suit for halloween to scare the little Subaru boogers who come knocking for a treat lol
I'm in for sushi too (someday). If we do an afternoon thing then maybe wife and baby will come along.
This might be easier to get a group in too. I know Saji Ya has an awesome deck on the 2nd level that is great for the fall.
yeah, I'm down for sushi some time as well. Let's get another Pho meet up going after this one too! (I could eat it like every day)
that's right by my house, i'd be down but their pho sucks. there's 3-5 other pho places on uni too with better pho. I set up a pho event like YEARS ago and it went well!
Not to me, been there twice and the pho's broth had little to no flavor, the pho itself was too soft and not the best. maybe your taste buds aren't working well. I'm down either way, been a long time since we hung out. Cheng Heng's parkinglot does suck but at 8pm, there may not be too many people there so we'll hopefully have plenty. I remember seeing them have street parking. I'll have to double check it since i drive by it on the daily. I remember seeing a street parking on the new road.
Anyone going that is willing to look/drive my car and see why its bucking/stuttering along at around 55-60mph in 5th gear? Thinking maybe clutch or pressure plate but not sure. All shops are closed so
Thanks for coming out guy. It was a great turn out. We were originally in this lot but the Lot owner and the restaurant owner didn't get along. The lot owner stated that if we're going to go eat Pho at Tay Ho and support them then we needed to leave. But if we did anything else, we could stay. Crazy Asian people and their grudges.
I would have enjoyed hanging out with you guys. Looked like good times. Like LVT, I personally don't think Tay Ho has all that great of pho. Teh only place that has a consistent pho flavor (and an staff of social and pretty waitresses) is Trieu Chau--a little west of Tay Ho. I've tried several and it's my favorite place for pho.
If I've learned anything during my pho adventures, it's that pho is a very personal dish. I try to hit places people call out as their favorites. I stopped listening to negative reviews, as it turns out anything but their favorite is generally labeled "not that great". Anywho, I thought it was good. Nothing was outstanding. Just a competently executed clean, simple broth with basic accouterments. That's all I ask for out of pho, anything else is a bonus.
totally agree. Some of my old favorite places are no longer my favorite due to changing the broth etc. To each their own. I'd rather have "ok" pho than terrible pho.
Look at your credit card accounts I now have a pending transaction posted for Tuesday 9/4 for 5$ more than my total bill with the tip. 09/04/12 TAYDO SAINT LOUIS P $12.83 should be 8 something
I was like WTF! I was surprised that they didn't charge us gratuity for the party we had. Was I the only one who left tip?
