Alright folks! Looks like weather will hold for us today. We will meet like usual at Boom Island. Tonight I WILL have trunk candy. If someone wants to chip in and bring some soda and/or chips that'd be schweet. Afterwards, about 730pm or 8pm I guess, we can head to Elsie's for some beer and/or chow. Boom Island Park 724 Sibley St NE, Minneapolis, MN 56413 Elsie's is literally on the next block. I will be there around 6pm. Hope to see a bunch of you there!
Either of you two going to be out for beers after? I'm looking for a BRZ/FRS to sit in with my helmet one...no specific reason
Lol ok cool. I have a dinner at 6:30, but I can stop by Elsie's after. How late do you think you'll stay out?
@derp Could be a possibility to swing by the park for a bit, just depends on what kind of mood the minion is in and what time we get home. I'll leave my hand half raised for now.
Ill come out for the part and depending on what time we go for beer/grub I may be in for that to. I try n be in bed by 10 these days. Damned adulting.
Whaaatttt!? Can we please keep this location as an option come September when I can finally make it out to Tuesday's again?
I don't trust that your dog is winking... I've been busy the last few weeks, moved into our apartment yesterday, should possibly be able to attend next week though! Fingers crossed!
Why not just skip Boom altogether going forward? Seems like no one really is into the whole hang out and check out other pplz rides anymore. That place you guys were at last night looked pretty cool. I'm down for checking it out next week and suggest making the start time 7, for those of us coming from the west traffic is lighter enough..
On board with skipping boom altogether. Surly is a kid, non-drinker, and dog friendly venue as well. Suggest keeping an early start time to beat the dinner/happy hour rush to grab a spot outside as a home base while people wander between various areas. No food except indoors, at the bar, and on the deck (and need to be seated by a host indoors and on the deck) so a revolving, designated outdoor home base will help keep the group together and still allow new folks to find everyone. Motion to have Kneel Weiss wear something distinctive for newcomers. I'm thinking some sort of poncho with at least one phallus on it... although that might be indistinguishable from @Ryan FailRad 's
