It's officially over, I'm done with big power. Think I'm going to go back to a stock 2.0lb and a td04.

Blew my ej207 lb, 205 heads, 28psi, E85, fifth gear pull. Car just died on me at speed. 25psi compression on three cylinders, 0psi on one. Spark plug decided to go missing. I believe I over boosted, causing massive detonation. I didn't log it so I don't know for sure. Timing belt also skipped one tooth, but I can't imagine that would cause such massive carnage.

I'm posting more or less to look for sympathy. I'll take donations, or at least good deals on a sti intercooler and a used (old, leaky, 100k+, whatever) td04.

The compression being off that far is from the timing belt, but I'm willing to bet you will have at least one cyl with a few bent valves.

I'm going to go with a no on this. The guy out here that tuned it didn't know how to use the AVCR (even though he said he did when I asked).

That would make sense. I know my valves are shot. Debating between repairing these and simply buying new heads. I was rather disappointed to hear Subaru doesn't sell complete long blocks.

Appreciate the offer. Unfortunately the car is in MN (was visiting my parents), but I still live in CO.

Yikes! Looks like the missing plug pieces bounced around in there a bit, eh?

what turbo did you have? trying to figure out what 'big power' may have been.

ps. i've never made a 5th gear pull, and never plan on it.

It was only a dom3xt-r. My goal was 400whp on E85 on the 2.0.
