Yesterday - Did my 60k maintenance (bought my car with approx. 71k in Sept. but you just never know). All fresh fluids, spark plugs and cabin filter.

Also had my new winter tires put on, General Altimax Arctic 215/45R17. This will be my first winter with my Saabaru, I'm really looking forward to AWD and snow tires! Although I may have too much grip for AWD drifts... but probably not, I guess we'll find out!

Special thanks to my buddy Joe and his service tech that did the work while I was stuck working. You guys are awesome!

Nothing broken, but both of my hands and my ribs are bruised up. I was actually putting insulation in the ceiling in the garage and one of my shop light fixtures gave way and the fxt caught me on the way down. I will have to see if I can get a good pic of the hood out in the sun. You can see where both of my hands and elbows left a dent up by the windshield cowl, and my fat gut killed the body line down the hood.

Oh DAMN! Glad to hear you're ok! Looks like the FXT broke your fall and saved you some broken bones! You gonna hang that hood on the wall as a garage ornament?

Finally got the Compustar Pro900 installed. It sure is a lot to figure out. Too many buttons for my small brain to remember! Should be nice for the winter.

Replaced heads on ej22 and dropped back into neighbors 90's legacy wagon. (not sure on year) got it connected to the 4eat, took forever to get lined up correctly to slide them together. got the mounting bushings connected after about 6 tries raising and lowering tranny and motor. Connected exhaust and started to connect intake and lines. will be finishing connecting the rest tomorrow.

laying on the ground under the motor while this was going on, got my shirt/hair full of oil/grease. washed it out of my hair with dawn, worked pretty good.

Took a few photos of my car last night. One is just a random shot I did some processing on.

The others are showing off the SPT exhaust I put on last Sunday.

    Weather forecast today:

Time for the winter tires! 16x6.5" steel wheels with 215/55R16 General Altimax Arctic's.

    Rear 3/4
    [IMG]

    Front 3/4

The thin wheels give a pretty tucked look. Oh well. General tires have deep, aggressive treads, and a fairly soft compound. Looking forward to trying them out!

Painted up the winters over the weekend with some Caterpillar Yellow. Hoping they'll have cured enough so they can be mounted by late this week.

Drove it for the first time in about a month. There's nothing wrong with it, I've just been tooling around in the truck. I was much relieved when it started on the first pull. I guess the battery is still in pretty good shape :)
