installed sti/spt short shifter and some rally armor meat curtains. Dig the look. Think I should have added an upgraded rear shift linkage bushing tho. Also got a 3M clear bro installed, the Trim Doctor does an awesome job and legit prices!

Today I went and bought my first set of spark plugs. I purchased the spendy NGK that were recommended in the manual. I plan to install them this weekend. Doesn't look too bad. I know some things have to be removed to access the sides of the engine. Time to 'get er done'!

It's somewhat of a PITA if you don't have the right extensions, etc. to get to the plugs on the DS of the car. Good luck though man it isn't tough.

As for me I took out my banjo filters and installed an '05 WRX turbo to get me by until spring since my VF39 died :(

Putting it up for sale on the corner and in the newspaper.

Going from a 02 wrx, to a 95 legacy wagon 5 speed :(. College coming up I need $$ and being this young, even without traffic violations my insurance smiles at the bill they send me every 6 months.

My wife managed to smoke a deer in the Tribeca, it ran into the left front fender and tumbled down the whole side of the car, fender, both doors, hood, headlamp, and part of the rear quarter, not to mention it smashed the windshield with its antlers, and made all of the cladding on that entire side of the car dissapear. FML.

Last night I busted a few knuckles replacing a leaky rubber fuel line. I replaced all of the hard line before the recall. However, the supplied rubber line leaked behind the ac compressor. It was a lot simpler to remove the compressor and work on it from there rather than removing the whole intake manifold. I bought some "high pressure" fuel line hose from Autozone and had the darnedest time getting it to fit on. Heat gun came into play. finally got it on and put on some new hose clamps. Hopefully she holds in cold weather. We'll find out this weekend for sure!

Took her out of storage. Slapped some new iPikes on there and took her for a spin. The Jeep frame is toast - the winter beater didn't last too long. : (

Well, the trib is NOT totalled, which is good. It will be getting a new front bumper, grille, new hood, new left headlamp, two doors, all new cladding, windshield, left fender, and rear bumper! Shiny Trib is shiny.

Will you keep the poop smear on the rear quarter that the deer left when he crapped himself after being hit?

No trans yet i will do it next summer when we put the new turbo in... IM just running the vf28 on the 2.5 hybrid for now until the motor is broken in then we will swap the trans and do the rotated kit. and the pistons are for the hybrid and they are coated

Looking at buying a block heater, for my 05 impreza rs, thinking about buying from http://subarupartspeople.com/searchproduct.asp?model=Impreza&catid=330407184075595&year=05&productdesc=Engine+Block+Heater Any other suggestions? or tips for installing it in the winter? I know i'm going to have to drain the coolant to install it, I plan on just reusing the same coolant, probably will drain it into a large bottle or something instead of a oil pan to avoid contamination.

Any suggestions would be more then welcome.

The frame in the rear was more rotten than initially expected. Worried the rear axle was going to separate from the vehicle while driving. Figured it be better to be safe. Now I'm on the hunt for a donor vehicle.

I picked mine up from the boys at Morries minnetonka with the discount it is probably a similar price. Unless the coolant is brand new I'd just get some fresh stuff. Make sure you have a 14mm (I think) allen wrench/socket to remove the plug from the block. I have my car set up with a timer for a battery warmer/block heater on these cold days.

Thats a great idea, about how long does it take to work its magic? also how much is a battery warmer? if its the same price i'll just go pick them up at morries.
