Put about 10 hours into the car modding/prepairing it for summer abuse!! Can't wait for roads to dry!

Crashed the RSTi on the mitsustyle cruise on the WI roads. Luckily I bought the blue RS on the for sale section the day before, LOL

Ouch, wasn't there an incident on that cruise last year? Congrats on the timing of the"new" car purchase.

Seems there has been at least one crash on that cruise every year now for the last few years.

Tuned it back to E85. My car is happier now that it is off of pump gas (again).

Changed dash bulbs to red LEDs for a backlit dash and HVAC unit, and cleared the headlights on my 2000 LGT. Next weekend: retrofit heated LED mirrors, clean carpets, sound deaden the trunk and body and wire in subs...

I've been thinking about sound "deadening" my trunk as well. I have had a system in my car for a while and my three 10in subs makes some things rattle and rattle loose after a while. What are you going to use/do?

I already did the door panels in Rattletrap (80mil FatMat). There seem to be mixed reviews on most everything on the market, but it's cheap and seems to do the trick. I don't think there is any difference between it and Dynamat from what I have seen. I haven't subjected my car to any earth rattling bass, but it made the interior significantly quieter by just doing the doors. I'll report back on the rest this weekend. FYI, 100 sq ft (enough to do a car, or two if you don't go full retard with it) is 150 shipped from Amazon

Finally took the effing snows off (I've been sick for the last week & a half)...at least 3/4 of them as one of the "summers" (my crappy OEM RE92s) was flat again...it was supposedly fixed last fall. And cleaned all the sandy salt residue out of my carpet and floor mats.

closed the doors to the car this morning after someone broke into the wrx last night. went through the car pretty well, left some tools, spare subaru parts one pretty sweet tape adapter....

nothing taken that i can tell but not 100% sure what was all in there. I'll have to go through it tonight. I didn't hear the alarm go off but maybe slept through it. how easy are these to circumvent? atleast no windows were broken.

guess now that the weather is getting warmer it's time for car break in season

Awe man, that's awful news! I'm guessing they damaged the trim around the window?

Unfortunately the frameless windows make it very easy to break in to and the factory alarm is very easy to get around. A well hidden aftermarket alarm with a back-up battery works much better, but asshole thieves will always be asshole thieves, so I'm sure they'll still find a way to ruin your day. Maybe a proximity camera outside of the house. Or one of these:

Absolutely, but I've seen a lot of offenders get off easy. Hopefully that won't be the case in this particular situation.

Delayed Post- but over the weekend, installed LED cluster and HVAC bulbs to change the color, did an oil change, installed whipsacks Subwoofer and wiring, fixed my turn signal issue by sanding and reassembling the stalk arm switch completely gutted the interior and FatMatted it and the trunk, used the rug cleaner on the interior carpets, and got halfway done with my LED Heated Mirror retrofit using 2000 Outback mirrors. Didn't get nearly as far as I wanted, but I can't wait to get it done and then take a crack at detailing the thing---and I didn't break too many things in the process ;)

Washed it by hand for the first time in 2011. Damn MN cold weather!

Fixed the rust / rock chips. Applied touch-up paint.
