Just got in from putting in some HID's. Now I've gotta wait till the sun goes down to test them out. :slayer:

You'll love them. What did you end up going with? I really like my 35w 5k lows + 35w 5k fogs. It's one thing I will put on all of my cars in the future too.

Got the legacy clean and finally swapped the summer wheels on.

Got the rsvx dirty and tucked it away for another month or two.

I went with 55w 6k. I didn't buy any for the fogs. Ill just have to leave them off so it doesn't look funny.

I remember when I had HIDs on my R6. I ended up layin the bike down and blew the balast or bulb. Had the put the stock back in and couldn't believe the difference it made.

started to fix up some of the rust on the wagon and did some primer etcher/paint in order to prep for more extensive body work next week on it.

also rebuilt my steering rack on the gc8 (sedan) and redid the steering wheel and quick release set up...much, much more taught and tight now.

removed my window tint from the gc8 as well, I had previously put on my rear window spoiler on the gc8 too... and continued to tear into the engine bay on the gc8... I seriously need a low pro jack and lower jackstands :(

Got bored, just removed the rack off the wagon, because it started to annoy me at speeds... the car has its "quirks" already, it doesn't need to sound like a werewolf too (unless it attracted some slutty twilight fan that wanted to give me a sexytime massage, but this is unlikely at best).

Firestone. I've always had a lifetime alignment on all my cars. They've always done a fine job. This time they just can't get it right. And I'm not happy about it.

I don't use it everyday, but it's held up just fine over the last 5 years or more that I've had it. The rubber pad on it just crushes. I've since wrapped it in duct tape and it's still going...

Put in the kiddo's new Recaro carseat, we're both pretty jazzed about it. I'll take and post pics if anybody cares to see a bada$$ carseat.

Sorry man. Maybe play up the safety features? I'm extremely anal when it comes to researching anything and the Recaro ProSeries are literally some of the safest carseats available. Theres a $50 discount code plus free shipping if you order it through recarochildseat.com right now too. It's all about the justifications.

I will be shopping around probably this weekend, maybe I'll hit the jackpot and Northern will have them on sale or one in their clearance section to boot. It really sucks the car is JUST low enough where I can't get the jack under it anywhere.

My jack isn't anywhere near low enough to fit under my car :(

I had a 2x10 cut into 4 pieces and stack 2 for each wheel as ramps.

yeah, I'm basically between a rock and a hard place since I tore into mine before tossing it up on jacks. not being able to get under the stupid car has prolonged everything way too much, it annoys me.

Finished up a little project that I started over the weekend. Got a warning for speeding on the way to cars and coffee, so I figured I should start using my passport 8500 again. I wanted it to be a little bit stealth, so here's what I did. I hacked up the cigarette lighter thing and made it all work. Waiting on the new mount that ordered to arrive, but it'll be tucked nicely up behind my rear-view.

XLUBEN, the jack your link goes to is the jack I have. Even with the mild drop I have I need blocks under the front wheels to be able to reach the frame. A low profile jack will only be good if it will reach all the way to the rails.
On the what did you do...
Sold my silver RPF1s to WREX, picked up the gold RPF1s from SQUIGGLEY. Waiting on some Federal 595 RS-R tires to show up.

Well I was locked down to my laptop/house being on-call this weekend... so here are my two DIY projects. I painted my grill flat black. I painted my Hellas Yellow and made a new bracket to mount them.

I am very happy with how it turned out. The flat black looks so much better. The Hellas look better spaced out with the new mounting bar. It also is nice to have them on the same level... before they were too close to the center and one was a bit higher than the other.
