Put front frozen rotors/hawk hps's on my Impreza. I was BARELY able to get the caliper bolts out of the 4pots even with heating them up. With help from Grayguy got the clutch bled on my 91 tleg as well.

Traveled from MN to milwaukee back to school. Car went from pristine for cars and coffee to full of bugs and brake dust pretty fast

Oh just an annoying rattle that comes and goes somewhere under dash near the windshield on the driver side. Also one somewhere in the back, near the rear window/surrounding plastic. It's kind of hard to tell when I'm driving and my wife isn't a big fan of driving stickshift...well, you know what i mean

it's the one underneath the intercooler, where the hose connects from bpv to the back of the manifold.

dropped it off at the body shop Tues. for a minor touch up of an area on my replacement rear clip that wasn't done right prior to my rebuild last summer. If anyone has read my rebuild thread we found out after cleaning up the rear clip it had a quarter panel replaced on it at some point. The work done was not the greatest.

It's now done and will be picking it up tonight. If i'm lucky the area that was scraped by a person who parked next to me will also be clean.

Got my new drilled and slotted rotors and pads on. Got the air outta my lines. 110% improvement from the stock ones!! I got them for $220 from eBay seller BrakeMotive. Deff recommend them if you need new/replacement brakes! Oh yeah that price was for all four with pads ;-)

xluben showed me the seat mod for the 2009 WRX. A 2 - 5 minute modification to the back of the seat and it feels so much better. It 100% cups the back way better and hold you in your seat around turns. Thanks Ben it rocks.

Should've seen, after the mod, Derek got into a racing mode because the it hugged him like a bucket seat. Boy was flying by everyone's grandma, flipping them off and looked me deep in the eyes with an evil laughter. Then he dropped me off and had some buffet.

It was going really well until the whole "looked me deep in the eyes" thing.... For a minute there Ben would have believed that I was driving like a really bad ass grandma yesterday! I did the passenger seat mod @ Holiday today while I was filling up with Magic Corn Juice. The wife wanted to see what it was like driving the speed limit with better seats. She likes it.

He likes to be the bun and not the hot dog.... LOL

Swift sports with some new KYB's... Alright just snapped a few quick in my garage. Not the best pics but they work. Loving the new dance. At 97k (mostly highway) one rear strut was completely gone, the other almost done, and the fronts in pretty decent condition actually but for how long I'm not confident.

Wanted a slight drop (driven in winter) and a smooth ride with some added performance. Swift advertises a 1" drop in the front and .8" drop in the rear w/apparently no "settling" time but we'll see I suppose; my measurements confirmed that I dropped an inch in the front and about 1/2" in the rear as I wanted. I threw on some 1/4" saggy butt spacers (TIC was out of 3/8"that I wanted) to help even the wheel gap a bit especially with the over 100lbs of stereo equiptment in the trunk. Loving the new setup, very happy with the entire setup, and FINALLY really feel like the car is complete for what I want it to be. It's not the fastest or best handling car on the road but it is exactly what I want it to be - a fairly fuel friendly, great year round, awesome handling, quick, and practical DD :p It's handling like I wanted it to from the beginning matched up with the cobb sway bars and it handles the additional power bump I gave it over the course of it's life while cornering so much better now of course. Happy camper here and think I will be done with the IMO tasteful and reliable modifications :) .... for 2 years or so until I get a new WRX/STi and start over.

I wish jb weld would work. I believe the bell housing is made of die casting and wouldn't take well to welding anyways. Going to be ordering me a new bell housing through Minnetonka Subaru.
