We will see what they look like in a good sunlight. painted them later this afternoon and well it was over cast so not the best weather for painting...

this is what they looked like from the factory.

Tried to shrink the picture but for some reason they will not cooperate.

^ interested to see what they look like on the car! are you going to need spacers for the CR-V wheels?

lots of work going on right now. uppipe is in, new (used) spindle is in, oem boost gauge is in, parking brake is adjusted. radiator pulled. finding lots of broken bolts and items that previous mechanics went a little torque crazy on. A few tiny drips coming from cam gear has led to more of an overhaul for things that should be done while in there. If all goes well we will finish with the invidia dp, timing belt, water pump, tensioner, idlers, front main seal, ecbs. hopefully we can skip valve cover gasket and I can get a tune in the near future.

I also dropped a bit weight from the car. I found more useless/random parts in the engine bay. This time a hose under the intercooler on the right side that led no where... saved maybe a gram or 2??? I say the butt dyno will feel it.

my front subframe is in awful condition. I should grab pics. My recall appointment can't come soon enough.

finished fixing up the subaru with zombie and found the source of my oil leaking. We found some other interesting things as well. good news is everything is running great and the fitment of uppipe and invidia dp is great-it's a quality dp imo.

background: I have ~15k or 20k miles on some new heads that were installed by a local dealer shortly before buying this car. It had a valve issue #2 cyl and required new heads. It's been leaking for a while so zombie and I finally took a look. It started leaking within 10k miles since motor was pulled and new heads installed by dealer. This shouldn't happen.

RH head side of motor is perfectly fine. the LH side tells a different story.

Oil leaking was leaking from both cam seals because the both seals were installed incorrectly. You can see where the inner part of the seal is pushed in compared to outside of seal and there excess rtv all over.

The timing belt was also installed off a tooth which explains lack of power, etc.

all cleaned up with new idlers, seals, water pump, tensioner, etc etc.

car now drives better than ever and it's ready for a tune. It was a semi costly repair that shouldn't have been needed except for a sloppy mechanic. If left untouched idlers would have gone well before the belt was due for it's next interval and the leaky cam seals would have just continued to leak more.

    Went stage 3!

Started at about 6, installed turbo, injectors, gs ebcs, tmic & filtered oil line. Flashed the new tune and took her for a test drive around midnight. I think I'm overboosting a bit, but I'm seeing 21# on my little 16g! :bounce:

so far. installed new wideband AEM afr sensor and changed oil. To come today. install wiring for said AEM wideband and remove rear bumper and start preping for rubberized fender coating. Taking the bumper off as rust is starting to form on the very edge of the rear quarter and want to get that taken care of as well.
