Awww it was so nice out today (50 in CO) that I just decided to wash the whole car! Bad news is I'm pretty sure the car has been repainted in it's life which means probably an accident at some point in it's life...grrr the joys of buying a used car :(

I hope we have 1ft of snow here in the metro. The drivers intimidated of the snow can stay home where they should be because they'll either get stuck or get into a wreck by themselves or with someone. That someone better not be me. Really excited to be going 10mph on the freeway tomorrow

I'll go out on a limb here and say overconfidence causes A WHOLE LOT more accidents in snow than intimidation. :)

Agreed. This morning a lady zipped by me on 35w. About 5 minutes later I passed her as her car was in the ditch.

Wow, of all the days she chose today? I think its both over confidence and not intimidated of the road conditions at all. Both which will make em end up in the ditch or be in a wreck. Not intimated of the amount of snow/ice(this, this is nothing) and overconfidence(I have awd). I'm not intimidated(unless it's all ice) but not overconfident either

Took my roof rack off today. I already need to replace one of the cracked end caps (Yakima round bars) so it doesn't rust out on the inside. Need to drive to GB this weekend anyways, so having it off will save a few miles per gallon as well.

It looks so bare on my roof now!

Not at the moment. As soon as I finished installing them I had to clean up and head to work. I'll be sure to take some tomorrow. I definitely like the drop these springs gave me; nothing too extreme and good daily drivability.

Winter tires and 50+ degrees out? Driving today was so sloppy during lunch.

Thinking I should throw on the summer wheels now, even though I was going to wait for some rain.

I think throwing the summers on is a little premature! Unless you don't mind damaging them or having to switch them back when the temps drop back down below 30 degrees?

I put my summers on for one night earlier this winter. It snowed the next day and I swapped back.

Rolling my fenders tomorrow and mounting my tires. It is going to suck waiting for summer to come.

I procrastinated one day too many last fall and put the car into a curb when we had about a half an inch of snow on the ground. Did some pretty good damage to the lip on the rear passenger rim. If you want to risk that, i say put em on!! I'll be waiting until we see at least 50-60 degree weather daily before i throw mine on. So...April-May.

This warm weather can go down south as far as i'm concerned. I still haven't got any "good" snowboarding in this year. I'd be happy with a fresh foot or two of powder this month.

I am running my 265/35/18 Kumho Xs race tires right now. :) as long as the roads are dry it does just fine. After it sits for a bit you can feel the flat spots from sitting though. Lol

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the forecast. So far it just looks like warm and some rain. If anything comes up, or if the temps drop down again, I'll be switching them back.

Oil change...alignment...and now just ordered my armrest extension/kartboy delrin shift knob from fastwrx.com. Next on the list - Grimmspeed BCS and turbo heat sheild ( a couple more weeks though...)! Getting the itch for my summer shoes and getting the bike rack back on!
