Bought a $2.50 clearance rack shift knob (blinky blue LEDs FTW) from Checker as a temporary until I can get a decent knob+boot from someone's NASIOC part out.

    Auto-to-manual tranny swap on Friday!!

No worries, man - any help is better than no help. Should be straight into tearing out the auto on Friday. I'll start as early as anyone wants to come over.

Mud Flaps!!! I feel like a moron because they took me forever to install :( Also, does anyone know the sizes of the long and short screws they use? I'd like to get black instead of the silver...seems like that's how they should've come.

EDIT: So, I did some researching on if any other rally armours came with black hardware and found something dame interesting!!! You use the longs screws for the sideskirt hole now...not the short!!! WTF...you'd think they would change that in their directions!!! That explains why I had 1 extra long screw and 2 fewer short ones.

On with the pictures (wasn't expecting it to be dark out when I finished :() If you put your face right up to the monitor and squint...then you can see them!

+1 I dont even think I have screws holding mine on anymore.

I drove to school and back again today, like I do everyday. Had a little bit of fun hitting redline in 1st gear and slamming 2nd merging onto the 35w/94w ramp thing :) but there was a big blue cloud behind me :-( . then got stuck going like 10mph under the speed limit the whole way home (30 miles...)

Colin came over and we replaced my front rotors, and swapped my rear pads from HPS to HP+ today. No more clunking/crunching brakes!

Then I proceeded to enjoy the twisty gravel stuff. ;)

    P.S. Thanks again, Colin!

Still not sure if the squish I heard while bedding in my brakes is from the brake fluid reservoir, or my struts... only done it twice, both times while braking. The other time was at the last rallycross while pulling up to the start line. Hmm...

discovered my fender lips are chewed to **** from gravel. so I cleaned the rust off, applied some rustoleum primer and tomorrow I'll put some truck bedliner on the lips and maybe 1/8" up around the fender arch

Was it leaking? I was under the impression that it was a rubber gasket or something so it could be reused....

It can be reused but when I installed the Sti tmic I bent it up and it was split between the layers so it prolly did leak. Its not rubber though its metal with some rubbery stuff on it.

I took care of my fender rock chip issues tonight. cleaned, masked, sanded, cleaned, bedliner (I had previously sanded all the rust off and primered with rustoleum) now I just have to deal with the massive gouges down my rear doors lol.
