Just pushed her about 300ft across an intersection in New Brighton (not far from Tangled's)... Died in the intersection and is having a wicked bad sound when I try to turn her over (heyo). Putting money down on the starter...

Thanks for the offer D! I really appreciate that.

Unfortunately, there is at least one broken rod. The consensus has been to find a new engine. Here comes the next big purchase/project...

Yep. I'll be running them all again this year. I'm going to Cen/Divs next weekend. First time at an event like that, we'll see how that goes...

Changed the oil. 100 miles short of 3000. And added a lil Lucas brothers fuel system cleaner, as I do during every oil change. Seems to help free up an extra mile or 2 a gallon that it tends to lose between oil changes.

We took it off a project integra. We went around and stood it on a bunch of vehicles to see what it'll look like. I wanted to see what kind of reaction I would get.

I have too much pride to mount that POS on my wagon.

No matter how much our team sucks, I'll always be a fan. It's better to have a team then no team.

I'm afraid that if I drove around with that spoiler, people would key my car.

No, they would take a pic or two and post it on their rice thread forum.

I was a fan for all the teams today and all sports at the hmong soccer tournament.

I hauled a couple transmissions down to the work bench:

    There's an '88 GL Wagon part-time 4WD Dual-Range transmission, an '89 RX Coupe Full-time 4WD Dual-Range transmission. Also a '93 impreza center diff and housing. 4.444 5MT front ring and pinion. And a Carbonetic clutch-type LSD.

Put this all together, and it will mean a 25:1 crawl ratio (lowest possible with OEM subaru parts, 1.592 x 4.444 x 3.545), 23-spline axle stubs so I can use stock Brat axles without modification, and obviously, a wicked front LSD.

1.59 low range gears alone in the case:

Put a clutch slave cylinder and new hose in one. Put some Home Depot sound damping in another. Little more civil rumbles on the inside.

bolted in the engine, started buttoning up all the accessories, re-installed most of all the coolant system as well... still gotta sort out the clutch, get the exhaust and turbo all buttoned up, and refill it with fresh fluids all around.

Threw two zipties on the bumper so it stopped popping out from the fender as it has only 4 front pop rivets and thats it for quick release :p

You mean the removal of 4 of the plastic pop rivets that are already on the car and cutting 2 zipties? Lol its ghetto but looks and works fine until I get brand new side tabs that come out easy

I believe that was me talking about my buddy who called me up to say that if you're referring to the comment here on the website. I once told him that I thought subaru's with UEL headers sounded like wookies and he called me while I was still living in CO to tell me about the mob driving past his work. As an avid Star Wars fan I have wanted to have a sticker like this for years, so I took advantage of my opportunity and made it!
