Installed new (used) tyre holding devices.

The 225s that came mounted are a wee bit stretched...245s will fix that when the incumbents give up the ghost.

With your car, it ain't for the faint at heart, however, easily done if you went on six power tours. ;)

I got my windows tinted. 35f/20r.

    +1 to coolness factor
+1 to happy backseat baby factor
-1 to good natured minnesotan factor (this is the stat that incites other good natured drivers to wave you in front of them during rush hour back ups)
    +1 to oh sh!t a cop! factor
    -$140 to bank account

100k on oem turbo and intercooler, can it go 200k?

^^Hey where can one get a can of this? do they make it in a grey tint color? That looks great!

Also... changed oil, topped off/checked all fluids, detailed inside and out, sat and stared for a minute or two, hit 118k :)

Took it in to the dealer for the front control arm recall. I just got a call and they told me the FXT failed the test and will be installing new ones.

They were originally WRB, went to Dan's Auto Spot in Rochester. Cost me just over $100 for paint and labor, which was fine cause I got the parts for next to nothing.

Installed Prova D steering wheel, this seriously makes your car much more pleasurable to drive. Makes you feel like your driving an F1 car. Thanks again Brent. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1342844049.786303.jpg

got the SPT boost gauge i bought awhile back installed today thanks to my son Allen. looks cool and works great. took awhile, but i learned how the instrument pod comes out and a few other things and got to check out some other things on the engine when we removed the intercooler. 2010 STI have about 18000 miles on it. Relocated the defi control unit a couple days ago because it got in the way of my mad heel toe skillz... but after I did that, all warning settings kept resetting and the control unit no longer illuminated with the headlights. Spent the day cable managing the rats nest underneath the dash to trace the problem.
Turns out a wire was disconnected and the ground wasn't tight. :banghead:

I also cleaned my air filter and a quick detail of the engine.

I removed my clutch delay valve today. Highly, highly recommended for anyone with a puck-style clutch. My car went from chattering on every start, to perfectly smooth, stock-like engagement.
