Installed this fix to get rid of the pesky P0420 CEL. I hope this did it because the CEL comes on just about every day now where before it was only once every other week.

Went on the hunt for a boost leak.

Pull the TMIC, looked for the usual suspects (hoses and clamps). Turns out my TB hose was loose on the end that meets the TB. I have only had the rubber gasket fail on that end, but never had the hose get loose. I am guessing it is from pulling my TMIC so many times. I could see installing and uninstalling enough times making it loose... well that is the SCIENCE my brain came up with.... I pulled the hose off the TB with very little effort. So I am 99% sure that was the issue. When installed correctly it should not budge. The worm clamp should hold it down on the lip of the TB. I cleaned the hose out, cleaned out my TMIC. Forgot to mark the top of the TB hose .... :banghead: ...... installed, checked fitment, uninstalled, adjusted, installed, checked fitment about 5 - 6 times before I got a good fit. Put it all back together. Letting the gasket maker dry before I go out for a test run. Sucked to tweak it so many times, but I feel that the TB hose has a better position that it did the last time it was installed. The worm clamp on the TMIC end seemed to have a tiny bit more lip to grab onto, and the clamp did not want to slide like it normally does. I guess we'll see if it was a success or not over my lunch break.

You should be using a t-bolt clamp.

Dropped my wife's Forester XT today onto some 03 WRX struts/springs; looks pretty sweet but wish that I would have opted for 1/4" saggy butt spacers...looks like that will be the next part order!

I felt the same way after I lowered my first FXT. Loved the lowered look but it just looked butt heavy. Don't take a corner with heavy people in the back seat either.

Changed the coolant. They don't put the plastic plug in a very good location do they? It's difficult to get into comfortable postion to loosen it and once you get it off the coolant falls onto a beam that spreads coolant everywhere. I probably caught 75% of it with my pan, and when I opened my mouth to say oh ****, I got some in my mouth. mmmm, sweet.

I don't think the spacers have been engineered yet at the time so I never had.

I picked up some "road bling" in the form of what looks like a half inch bolt in my right rear tire. It went into the perfect spot so you can actually see the outline in the sidewall :banghead: so I had to get a new set on order. Michelin Pilot Super Sports here I come!

yea, its a pain...and part of the reason why I've been putting it off on my car. I think it helps if you only open the plastic plug a small amount to it doesn't ole faithful everywhere.

It was 3.8mph ass...quit pretending to be fast!

Was driving to Sheeniss' place and while on Larpenteur, when i pushed on the gas pedal i felt it snap and go to the floor. Cable broke under the hood about 6 inches from the throttle body. Praise God, i had a spare in the garage at home which Sheen threw in the car while i was working on his house. Thanks to both of you!

I pulled the crappy prodrive front sway and put the stock bar with new bushings and kartboy links in, it is nice not to hear clunking when I hit a bump

I also bled the clutch and greased the pivot pin for the clutch fork

Got new tires put on my stock wheels. Had my coworker paint them white while he was going to school for auto body and paint. FOOO FREE!! Turned out pretty nice if you ask me. Then kind of old but I reinstalled the momo shift knob that came with the car. The leather was all worn out so i striped the leather off sanded it down then stained and sealed it.
