Going to change my spark plugs tonight & check for boost leaks if I have time. Making sure I'm all squared away for my tune @ RS next Thurs! Anything else I should double check?

having fun now. installed SPT boost guage, Invidia catless down pipe, Cosworth cold air intake, and a Cobb turbo heat shield. Topped it off with an awesome stage 2 tune by Nuke. It really rips now. Nuke's tune was money very well spent. Got a real treat today with a set of Volk racing wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. those Michelins were a big improvement on the way the car drives. All this i have to thank for helping making it happen is my bud and son Allen.

Lol, couldn't pass up the price. Thought they'd look nice on the wrb. The old man deserves them, he's done more for me than anyone could possibly imagine.

Car should feel even quicker due to the reduction in rotating mass. Those OEM boat anchors are HEAVY.

Yesterday mine soaked up the sun in the driveway while we worked on the bugeye.

    Spark Plugs
Cleaned the Engine bay up a bit, got a lot of grime off the engine
Cleaned the battery terminals, connectors and wires
Plasti Dipped the battery tie down - it was pretty rusty.
Cleaned the intake - Washed out the 10 years of gunk in the air box. Cleaned and oiled the K&N filter
Nuke was there so we made sure to do the MAF sensor before he could ask.
Rerouted some radiator hoses. Drilled a new hole for a 2nd radiator hose. Cleaned up the "T" split setup. Cleaned out the overflow tank.
Fixed (I hope) the trunk leak. At this point we have siliconed the brand new weather stripping around the trunk. Siliconed the bottom of the window. Siliconed the side weather stripping on the window. Siliconed some cracked rubber on the window and roof. I really hope this is the last session of silicone that this car needs.
    Anti-seized a bunch of bolts.
and most importantly educated my sister on some car maintenance while shooting the $hit with Jon and Nuke.

I think I picked out the previous 10 years of crap the first time I went in there. I cleaned out a small nest and ~100 flies not to mention dirt, and a bunch of other crap. I didn't take it all apart though and probably should have. Sucks about the leaking, I didn't have water problems like you are getting. Did you try re-aligning the trunk at all?

No, this time around I did notice a nice size gap in the window and the window trim. I think the water was getting in via car wash only at this point. So I think it is picking it up from the side. We'll see in a few days. The water problem is minor and my sister is very happy with the car. No worries on her end (or my end). The air box just had some dirt and crud in it. We cleaned it out. Glad there wasn't a nest :D

good to hear, Bruce was good with body work but his window skills? if i would have known that was how it was going to turn out i would have paid someone to go over and put it in.

if all goes as planned, I'll be back into a subaru by this fall. :D

Yeah, nothing a little silicone can't fix! She really is pretty stoked about the car. She has been doing a good job keeping tabs on fluids (every day stuff) and hanging out/learning when we work on her car. She helped me do the plugs, diff, brakes and fuel filter so far (plus a few other minor things). The car is running great.

    Nice, any idea what kind?

Picked up a new compression tester for work and figured I'd use it on my car. Everything checked out great. Replaced the spark plugs while i was at it to. Car runs and idles much smoother.

Some electric stuff on Tash's car
And a joke at his expense.
