Took mine to the track for the first time since last year when I was just stage 2. I'm 1.36 seconds faster now :)

    13.18@105

Car ran perfect (thanks RS!), but my driving still needs work, lol...

Not sure. Depends on exactly what happened. If it turns out I straight up torched the clutch then there is a good chance it's a driver education issue and another HDSS will be fine. If there is something else afoot then I'm looking at something beefier. Maybe a ClutchMasters FX300 or a CC stage2.

Dealer put in a OEM Sachs when I bought it last year - so far so good, even w/stage 3e & 26 drag race launches. I full expect it to fail eventually, and I'm all but sold on the FX300 based on all the reviews I've read.

Welp... the good news is it sounds like it was just the clutch plate that fried. The bad news is that means I apparently don't know how to drive my own car.

    Chong, where you at mang?

Took a 0-60 (well 75 lol) vid at one of the many stop lights near my milwaukee apartment. Still stage II on a dp, cb, walboro, and open source setup from when I bought the car

Estimated at 4.5 (looked at it frame by frame) at 64 mph on the speedo as my it reads a hair slow but not bad. I'll take another better one when the opportunity comes.

Took my WRX down to RS to get a lean code checked out and fix some boost leaks. No more CEL for me!

Put in new spark plugs. Who would have thought new plugs will make your car run better?!

Took the grinder to the rear fenders and pretty much flattened the hell out of it. No more rubbing on a 9 wide +13

Started putting my 11 wrx back to stock for trade in. Got the AOS off, stock injectors back in and intercooler off and stock air box on. Tomorrow will be gauges out, stock dp and exhaust, remove coilovers, install stock fuel pump, and remove my Prova steering wheel.

put the stock wheels back on with the all season tires on them. my son was a little upset that i took the Volks off the car. thought i had more time yet before i would need the other tires. would rather do it now than to wait until it is snowy and cold. IMG_0695.jpg IMG_0865.jpg

Officially hit the break in mileage on the new, new HDSS. Looking forward to remembering what boost feels like.

Drove while it was snowing. Officially scared the **** out of me. Gotta love the U.P.!

Almost time to break out the rex...the asphalt has been begging me not yet, but I think the time is near.

they are part of the deal. I wasn't sure when i first saw them, but they've been growing on me quite a bit. Bonus is you don't see them around ever

I've only seen them once before. Never on a street driven car tho! Big "plus" to the fact that they are one of the lightest wheels that you could ever own!

No doubt they will make a fine summer wheel. :) It also will make it harder to choose my other car when I eventually make it up to BIR.

Installed my new (to me) Cusco rear strut bar.

Also, learned that if you take the seat belt off and it turns upside down...it will lock since it thinks the car rolled. Had to search for a fix so if this happens to you, just bolt it back into it's normal position and give the belt a good yank. It should come unlocked.

replaced cam sensor driver side, still waiting for 2nd cam sensor to arrive. Hopefully, this will solve the cel that comes on only at idle/below 1200rpms. Also broke out the black plastidip and hit the sti/impreza badge. I still need to get to paint the S U B A R U badge though.

^installed Maddad Whisper today. Great sound! loved my Greddy evo 2 system, but very happy with the new set up. Videos hopefully will be posted soon.

EDIT: So, after getting the current system off, the midpipe from the Maddad did not quite fit into the the ERZ. That little lip (very technical term) was about 1/8'' too wide, so I ground it down and got it to fit much better than the photo showed. Afterwards, cruised from New Brighton to the MOA and back, and am extremely happy with the in-car noise level, and the sound when she gets a little push.

(I also took off the summer, wheels, and put on the all-seasons for the winter. Even though it is just going from 17''s to 16''s (from those in the photo to the stocks) the stocks just look so small. In a winter or two, I may have to make my "summer" wheels into my winters, and actually invest in a decent set of summer wheels...).

15min knuckle install on the rsvx last night. front springs and radiator hose guard this weekend. It's like I own the car again lol

Thinking about a 12a rotary swap in a Subaru. 360 maybe?
