I have my new tires sitting in my office...I get to smell the fresh rubber every time I walk to the bathroom. Wife is not impressed, but I usually stop for a moment while on my way to dropping the kids off at the pool just to enjoy it.

Had Fobia cut up my Q300 mid-pipe to fix a tragic design flaw. It no longer has a flex pipe that hangs down like this.....

It was pretty quick. Someone showed up to drop off some parts, so we BS'd a bit. As you know, his work is very high quality. He did a great job and really made sure everything fit nicely.

I have tons of clearance to the drive shaft. There is no way it will hit.

Installed turbo xs tbe, Cobb heatshield, and kartboy shifter bushings. Had a snapped bolt that got fixed today. Flashed to stage 2 map. Had to use the severe lwg version as I was over boosting about the same percentage as the non lwg stage 1 map, which I expected. The tbe does have a high flow cat, just the nature of my car I guess.

Getting new rubber on '04 sti wheels another member sold me. One rim is bent... I know it's up to me to check them over but disclosing that when I asked would have been appreciated. Not "they are straight and perfect...."

I will now be shopping for one wheel now.

Yeah, it dropped over the last month or two all the way down to around $2.17 last week, but since then it appears to be climbing back up pretty steadily.

I drove the Saabaru to Iowa yesterday and back today...29 mpg FTW!

And I treated it to some new badges when I got home - finally warm enough to install:

    nice! they look good.

what is it with saabs badges? They never hold up. For years it was a problem. I had the same thing with an old spg and I've seen so many since that just went to crap. I'm usually surprised when i see one with good badges....

Decided to temporarily "slam" my LGT tonight.. didn't quite like how it looked, so I told my heavyset friends to get out. I should have taken a pic, it was comical.

Plastidipped my summer rims (black), and while I was doing that, had a neighbor swing by asking about the "big scoop" on the front. After he asked what it was for, I offered him a ride. :)

Debating plastidipping emblems tomorrow, but we'll see... Also will be putting on the newly dipped wheels tomorrow. I think that the all clear has been sounded...

today I installed an 8" sub in my wife's wrx, and on top of the sub, I also painted my wife's summer wheels. She's pretty excited to have people stop thinking she's driving her man's car
