(Yesterday) took the rims/tires off of the RSVX and threw the winters from the WRX on it(thank God for the universal usage of parts between the two)! Put the summers on the WRX. Sheen and i did the rear rotors, pads, bled the brakes, and put new-used WRX calipers on the back of the RS! Still need to do the Master Cylinder though as i have about 50% braking in it right now. Lol

"Flushed" or more diluted the power steering with some fresh ATF. Stuff in it looked like old oil. No red to be seen. Took 2 quarts before it finally looked clean. Then did some spirited driving. Car was running awesome today! Not sure if it was the weather, or the Shell gas I put in, but I swear it seemed a little faster then normal today. Also pulled 25 MPG highway, a new personal best! :D

The gas stations are probably off of the winter blends now ;)
Plus I noticed yesterday that I finally hit peak boost again...probably the warmer temps!

Put on my summer wheels yesterday and put the muffler delete back on.

I was curious what the muffler delete sounded like from outside the car (mainly for the autox decibel limit concerns), so I took a quick video. (yea, I'm a dork). Don't mind my missed shift on the way back

I stole some wheels from the WRX, and threw them on the legacy.
I can confirm 245/40-17 fits fine on a 17x8 +45 wheel, with no rubbing at stock height.

Last photo shows worst of center caps... before I acquired them, they were winters, and I have been using them for summers. For those looking to Plastidip wheels, this was a very simple way to give a fresh look to some old, scuffed up wheels. Maybe next summer, I will switch up the color. Thanks OfSpunk7 for introducing me to the product! I bought a few extra cans; now to decide what else to dip.... I'll try and post another photo once I get them on the car.

Over my lunch break I replaced my broken fogs. Last weekend i discovered I had one fog light busted up (only three months old) and the other was cracked around the base and fogged up. Today my new fogs came in the mail (Amazon). I was stoked to find my fog lights $50 cheaper then I had paid on Amazon with my prior purchaces. Now this is the 3rd time I have ordered fogs off of Amazon for my car. The first time I got them they were 100% perfect. Then I had to replace the passenger side this past winter/fall thanks to a rock. I got the same foglight but picked it up through a different vendor. They sent me the correct light with the wrong mounting hardware. I had to remove the old hardware off my broken light and swap it to the new setup. Today I was happy to find that the new company I used on Amazon (3rd vendor) sent the correct hardware.... however they didn't include the brackets (nuts) or new bolts. WTF!!! So once agian I had to strip the bracket/nut off of the old mount and reuse my screws. However, those were just minor issues. The new fogs work great and I am happy to have my HIDs back in.

    Pics or it didn't happen!

Now you just need to hit up Chris at Flawless Front Ends and get them covered! My headlights have been holding up much better with the clear protecting them from the oxidation and rocks! ;)

Removed some rusty aftermarket fogs from my light bar, mounted my horn behind the grill, and swapped some quick releases into the rear strut bar after cutting the trim caps to hide the mounting ring.

I've driven it a couple times this year, that's something. Started a list of what's been done to it just in case I have the guts to sell it. Hmmmm, we'll see. I've been telling myself I'd do it for some time now but haven't yet.

Unfortunately, I also was able to see closer many of the battle wounds that she has sustained over the past couple years. Very saddening...

today I put on my cat back exhaust that I recently purchase from a member of mnsubaru forums. Thanks prezawagon, the exhaust sounds great. Not to loud and has a good low tone. I also tinted my back tail lights which to my opinion looks pretty bad ass. Wish I could show you guys some pics but maybe later when I have more time. Also installed headers on a acura TL type S today, wow that car was easier than I thought it would be. Feels like I accomplished a lot today.:)
