Cleaned off tar that sprayed from my front passenger tire to the front fender, both passenger side doors, rear panel, and trunk :( As much as I'll miss summer, I won't miss MN construction zone city. ugh

My Subie got a bath, a full tank of gas, a cargo tray, and a rear bumper guard. Plus it got to chat with all the other Subies at work (I work for Walser Subaru).

Phill is the after pic after media blasting or after paint?

Edit: I just purchased a used TurboXS 4" downpipe. A friend of mine has a mandrel bender at his work. So we'll be bending it up here soon. Best thing about this is I'm only getting charged for materials. I bet this this whole exhaust setup is going to be less then $160. Custom exhaust here I come!

can you get me model details please?!?!!?

most smaller shops wont have a true mandrel bender as per the cost involved and have been researching and trying to find a smaller one that will still do 3in at least

also I almost bought these for my Forester wagon

The place my friend works at isn't an exhaust shop. It's a pretty big company but I don't want to mention the name. But I will ask him what the model of it is, I'm pretty sure its run and operated by someone punching numbers into a computer and not like the normal hydraulic/lever bender. He made me a 2.5 inch exhaust for my Chevy Beretta and the bends are flawless. He also told me this machine can only bend up to 3"

drove it to wabasha and to roch and back.

the coil overs are a bit bouncy, but I think that is just a matter of getting them set up a little better.

I opened my doors and dirt fell out. Must've been that rallycross today.

Then I washed it. I forgot what it looked like when clean.

Oh... and I picked up some rally tires on friday, but no wheels yet. Meh. :dunno:

Not sure if I am going to or not but I am thinking about putting the prodrives from the wrx on my forester. also thinking about trying to adjust the dampening, and give it a good coat of polish and wax. I doubt I get all that done but thats my goal.

Changed the oil. Awesome deal at autozone, 5 liters of Quaker State + an STP oil filter for $23 after tax!

I usually like to use the OEM oil filter, but I got to the dealership too late yesterday to buy one :(

^ post a picture of the problem.

I drove downtown and back today. I also filled up the gas tank at $2.09. I got a whopping 32.3MPGs which is a all time high for me. This is the first full tank of gas with the 5spd and the lighter/smaller winter setup on. I also wasnt exactly nice to it during this tank, which means I might get even better mileage in the future!
