Washed it, because I drove it to work yesterday and I want it to be pretty when I drive to the cities area tonight.

Finally got around to replacing the oem exhaust hangers with some good old kartboys for my Turbo XS tbe. Protip, buy some silicone spray. The oem hangers are a pain to get off. I did them by hand on my 2002 wrx way back when. Using the silicone spray this time around and I was done in less than 10 minutes from jack up to jack down.

Wash, dry, clay, wipe off lubricant, apply Wolfgang Polish Enhancer, wipe off, apply Wolfgang Paint Sealant, wipe off (in total you are touching all of the car eight times). Includes taping off black areas to keep paint sealant off them, clean wheels, apply Black Again to the splash guards, cowl plastic, mirror housings, apply Xpel sealer to clear bra, polish exhaust tips, remove and reinstall licence plates, small lunch break, talk to the mailman and lawn service guy for a short time, tune garage radio a few times...it all adds up. Could I do it quicker? Probably, but I'm old and putz a bit.

Got the Hella horns working again so I no longer sound like Yaris when I honk. :)

Question tho. Anyone know what the center pin on the relay does? AutoZone only had a 4-pin and it seems to work just fine.

Depending on the relay model, it can be just a second pin for the output, or it can be oppositely switched (normally closed).

I had my new Centric rotors and Stoptech pads installed at NF today. They feel and work great, and I had yet again another great experience at NF. I even got a free lunch out of the deal!

Also had the chance to take a ride in Juks' WRX while I was waiting. That car is QUICK. Left me with a stupid grin on my face. :D

wrapped the tanks on the intercooler on my 2010 STI with a heat barrier. testimonies show that this stuff reduced heat soak temp on the intercooler nearly 300 degrees after subsequent dyno pulls. looks kinds cool too. IMG_1106.jpg IMG_1105.jpg IMG_1092.jpg

Started washing it, then it stormed pretty hard during (with tornado sirens), then a double rainbow. Then I enjoyed the sun and got it dirty again.

Installed my new top hats, dampers and springs with the help of Shane and then went for an alignment with Jeff "the alignment guy". So far I love the setup!
