Is Morrie's pretty decent? I believe that's where my car originally came from. I've heard my local dealer really gouges on parts prices so I was thinking I might just pick up parts from Morrie's when I'm down in the TC.

Yeah, good guys over at Morries. 10% of labor 20% off parts for being a Mnsubaru member. They have a thread stickied in Vendor announcements/ sales discounts

Nice! I'll have to take a look. I may be needing to get some replacement rear struts. My baby looks like she's starting to sag a bit. I just wish I could get some Koni coilovers for cheap for her.

Don't forget to get it tuned ASAP after the install! Messing with the AFR on a WRX/ STI is no joke, unless of course spending 1000s on a motor rebuild sounds funny to you ;). Also there is a ninja emoji now, I'm using it for no good reason :ninja:, so there you go.

Tried to drive through a plow-berm to get into an unplowed parking lot today. The snow was heavier than I expected and I cracked a chunk off of my bumper. Sucks to hurt my new car but I'll call it "lightweighting" for now. Hoping to get a new bumper cover by the end of the week and I'll try to beef it up before installing it.

Picked up a Grimm Speed front tower strut in black and a master cylinder brace. Time to get them put on this week!

You will deff notice a difference with the brace. I did the brace as my 1st mod. Well worth it. Have not done the brake brace yet.

LOL! yes, near in proximity, but one can take hours, one takes 10 minutes tops. If the MCB on a BRZ is anything like a WRX/ STI, get yourself some beer and advil for finger pain and don't make any plans for the day/ night. I paid NF (TASH) to do mine and it took him and 2-3 other people 4-5 hours. I also have an AOS, which I realize complicated things.

I just ordered my MCB for my '12 WRX. I'll remind myself to get a case before I do the install. Good luck.

pulled 40lbs of ice out of every nook and cranny of the wheel wells and bumpers. I'm thinking about making myself a skid plate and a decent scangauge mount so mine stops flying around while driving.

Took apart the Legacy dash and replaced HVAC bulbs, replaced the cup holder and radio trim. Cig lighter works now too. Still no oil leaks!

Nice. Just did my pitch stop and master cylinder brace. I can definitely feel that there's a difference with the new pitch stop. As for the MCB, not really or maybe my feet were too numb. I need a heated garage! uploadfromtaptalk1393102993739.jpg

Yea, I borrowed works heated warehouse building and installed them. The MCB you can notice a little bit of difference, given how slow the roads are can't actively take corners, but it all took under an hour.

Sweet. Mine took awhile to install. The work space for the MCB on the WRX is hell. Lol.

Yea, grimmspeeds video for install was over an hour, with lots of unscrewing and moving things. The BRZ is super simple. Unscrew the fuel line mount and rescrew fuel line. Done.

My SUBARU Footwell Red Illumination Kit also came in today. Install was a bit challenging but a metal clothes hanger helped a lot. The red under glow looks pretty sweet.

Do they offer more colors than just red? Mine came with red but I think I've seen blue available also. Is it just a ground and hot wire goes to illum?

Yeah, I'm not too sure but I know blue is also available. I disconnected the plug for the light underneath the cigarette lighter. It pops out and then used that for power. I ran a clothes hanger through the hole and made a hook for the wire harness. Then pushed it through with a little elbow grease. The passenger side was definitely more difficult. If you already have the red and wanted to swap out to blue, it would probably be pretty easy. The led lights have a separate harness.

I did something like that, too. I drove into a poorly plowed alleyway today and broke off the corner to the fender lower add on lip and chunked the bumper a but. AHHHHH!!!!

I broke out the tow strap and pulled two different people out on the way into work to save them from having to get a tow truck. They were pretty happy to be out and given the temps i don't blame them. One looks like they took a left turn too fast and plowed straight into snowbank, the other just got stuck in snow courtesy of some deep ruts and a decent sized snowdrift. I was surprised at the traction the wagon gave me while doing it too since I was on that hard slippery snow packed surface.

Washed the grimey little %$#@&!. This winter has not allowed me to do a light cleaning of the interior though...the driver's floor is a disaster.

Hammered my front right fender and hood a bit to squeeze in a new headlight until I get the body panels replaced. Had to splice in a new 9007 headlight pigtail since the og one got sheared off. While I was in there I wired in the corners to flash with the blinkers. Never understood how they can make a car without flashing corners.

Decided to join the Rotella T6 bandwagon since AutoZone had it incorrectly priced at $12.

Please tell me I'm not the only one to throw in the entire container and wonder why I was still short on oil? Ended up going back for another quart
