I put a shotgun in the trunk!

And cleaned out 3 months of crap that was behind the seats. Making a run over to Oakdale in about an hour to site 'er in.

I'm about to go do an oil change on the forester. It was soooo relaxing driving it today. My wife told me she was exhausted from just driving the STi to work in traffic this morning:laugh:

She shouldn't be:ugh: all I know is she works near/at Fairview riverside and I'm pretty sure she has never been on 494 in her entire life.

Oh and Carl I can't wait to see the underglowz;). How long is the install expected to take?

The little plastic inspection piece for the ring gear came loose and was 1/2 in my tranny last night, so I had to pull that all apart and remove that. Then had to find one.... Also replaced the PVC valve while I was in there.

I shared the road 94 eastbound for a while this morning with an 05 STi black, tint, exhaust and it sat low on some sorta 5 spokes(silver) between St. Cloud area and clearwater. I was in my smelly work van.

what the hell I thought i was in the spotted thread!

yea it could have been really bad. luckily I'm a pretty cautious driver on the street and was braking very early coming up to the light so I had enough time to stop the vehicle by other means

I came home from work and tightened the last two ground wires under the hood (Thanks Nate)and then filled the coolant with a vacuum system. Started it up and all is perfect.
The black '06 formerly owned by 'Idget' is now running and drivable. Once I paint the front body parts, it will be back on the road after more than a year.
It has been a long slow process with no outside help, so I am pretty proud of myself.

I think saw your car in there yesterday. Silver WRX with Subaru logo vinyl and wingless. Right? I had my Silver Evo with the CF hood in there getting some exhaust work.

Checked all sway bar bolts and greased the fittings. Changed the oil and mounted the front skid plate. Vacuumed and washed interior bits. Ready for The 2008 OLD MAN WINTER TOUR. I know at least two subies will be rolling.

i had previously pulled the majority of the airbag system. there is a bit of the airbag system (they wires that run across the main harness to connect the sensors on either side of the car to the airbag module). otherwise there are a lot of interior lighting wires from the main harness, security system, door open sensors, mirror controls, oem foglight wiring etc. pretty much anything that isn't needed to just drive the car is coming out. I'm over to the fusebox side right now and there is a lot more coming out

major thanks to andrew (sniper1rfa) for giving me a hand with this mess. hope the car still runs!!
