Haven't had a chance to check gas milage yet. As far as road noise there arnt bad at all. I'll be doing a full review once I get some more drive time on em.

Did an oil/filter change today and installed the Fumoto quick valve.

Header wrap still looks good on the Killer B :)

And had steering bushings and rack brace put on, plus sport alignment done. This guy does awesome work, drive like a dream.

Mini lift kit?! I put Outback struts in our 95 Legacy wagon. Got mad gains! Well, at least an inch or so. Haha.

Hauled a 7' pine tree home for the wife today on top of the Legacy.

Put the snows on the WRX this afternoon in hopes of Monday's rumored shot of white stuff.

I have to do a boost leak test today. Then hopefully a retune. Watching for parts for a summer time upgrade. Dark blue injectors, 20 g turbo and new fuel pump.

I also did an oil change and installed a fumoto valve yesterday...on the fiance's outback.
I was also at the alignment guy's yesterday to drop off some wheels for incoming snow tires...also for the fiance's outback.

...this whole getting married thing. Oh well, at least she drives a Subaru! I suppose I was the one who ordered the fumoto valve and convinced her to buy snow tires.

Smitten Kitten and Fantasy Gifts usually have them next to their whips. Wait, which valve?

    LIFE CHANGER!

Haha ok, maybe it's not that amazing, but it is convenient. It's a valve that replaces the oil drain plug. So when you change your oil, instead of having to remove the drain plug and get oil all over your hand, you just open the valve, no mess. Relatively inexpensive, they don't leak, and makes life a hair easier if you do your own oil changes. I now have them on all 3 of our vehicles.

Hot damn! Will have to Google 'er later. That sounds like a pretty bad ass addition to the garage. So does it just thread in in place of the drain plug?

Yep, remove drain plug, screw in valve (comes with the right gasket), tighten with crescent wrench, done. You can get them on amazon and various other places, just make sure you get the right one.

Not all Subarus... Outbacks and others with the smaller drain plug take the 108. I think that's what my frs was too.

I just tried to look up what size the '14 XT would be, and at least on the O'Reilly list, they have nothing listed. Is there another place that I could reference to be sure to get the right size?

Was driving home yesterday from work and felt a rumble. Before I pulled onto the the shoulder saw a puff of black smoke out my rear window. finally got over and out of the car and this is what I saw. spare tire was flat as well so i had to limp the car to nearest gas station. But now i know i don't have TPM in my wheels. Yay!!!

I had a very minor exhaust leak at the end of the y pipe. After loosening and re tightening the clamps everything seems merry again. You can see where it was leaking, right at the split in the pipe.
