    You know it ;)

On the added side, I was gonna use them at the Subie BBQ, but someone else had some. So they count!

I recently got a hold of some DEI titanium wrap. Wrapped my crosspipe, up-pipe and downpipe. This was to hopefully keep my passenger side valve cover gasket from heating up too much and leaking, which i replaced at the same time. So far so good.
I also added two strips of the DEI into my perrin turbo blanket that had frayed and opened itself so i could slide the strips inside of it. I can definitely tell the temperature difference.

IMG_1727.JPG IMG_1734.JPG Spent a lot of moolah at the dealership. Car drives like a dream now. No more noise! Top is the loaner that they gave me. 2017 Leggy Sport. Drives nice, lacks oomph, GPS sucks bawls. EyeSight is weird to get used to.

LOL, I wish. Would have been nice having the 250 hp one rather than the 175. I thought that it would be too much to ask to get a WRX or STi.

I've been slacking on my updates over here, so here are a few updates on my FXT:

Got tired of the roof bike carrier and discovered that hitch racks are actually pretty reasonable...so I got a hitch and a hitch rack (Swagman Chinook...awesome). The bike is new as of this summer too :)

Best part about the rack is that I can still open the hatch when the bikes are mounted, or when it is folded up and not in use:

Plasti-dipped the grill and fog light surrounds + 3 coats of glossifier:

And went camping this last weekend:

That would be what it is. Probably going to wait to install those when I get some front and rear sway bars to go along with them.

In the process of repairing some hail damage on my bugeye, just installed the new fiberglass Velocity trunk lid (yes, I know it's primer gray, but it will be painted shortly). Waiting a few more weeks to take delivery on a Kaminari carbon hood that I ordered in August (long story that I'm sure I'll share once it's over), and have a carbon roof skin sitting here that I'll be installing in the near future. Also tinted the tail lights, because rice car.

Thanks, pretty excited to get everything finished up on it. This is the hood I ordered, most likely going to paint the front/sides WRB but we'll see how it looks when I bolt it on.

Lol, right. Give it that sweet ricer two-tone look. But for that I think the hood is supposed to be flat black...

I think you're confusing that for the classic muscle look. 69 Road Runner ain't no ricer.

You're right, it isn't because that classic muscle look actually served a purpose in reducing glare from the dining room table of a hood.

Do you mean absorbing heat from the engine and effectively cooling the engine compartment or absorbing solar heat energy and increasing engine compartment temps? I imagine it could have both effects.

Replaced front 10 year old Cobb front sway bar bushings with a new set from energy suspension. Had to trim the ES passenger bracket a bit. As always, took the wire wheel to all bolts and added a dab of anti-seize...for the next time!

Bolted on my Kaminari reverse-cowl carbon hood the other day and just spent my Friday evening chopping holes in it for the Aerocatch hood pins, a very nerve-wracking experience. Pretty happy with the results. A few pics of the process...

Busy weekend. Besides the hood and pins, I got my new trunk painted and bolted on and installed the NRG carbon roof "skin" (really just an overlay). With that, I now have all of my hail damage either repaired, replaced, or (in the case of my roof) concealed.

Is that rear bumper aftermarket? Or is that a rear lower lip?

Trunk and hood look fantastic btw!

The side skirts and rear lip are either C-West or a copy of them. Rear bumper is OEM. I've been tossing around the idea of maybe cutting out the center and adding a diffuser. We'll see how bored I get this winter.

Had a windshield chip filled in on the STi. Found out that at under 5 years and 57K miles the roof is already starting to rust...

The second "Imgur" link in my above post shows a side view where I have it lowered for the Winter. Come Spring, I'll drop 'er down some more and also once I figure out my wheel and tire setup. I forgot to mention I installed a Whiteline RSB with Katboy links.

I'm having issues uploading photos straight from my phone.
