oil change...then decided to mess around with tail lights and went with the "wrc" look.

 

Ok I know what the JDM look is because I did it early this summer but whats the WRC look??

tail light

to tell you the truth. i'm not quite sure. can't find any pics to confirm this besides the one on the link below. but got nothing else better to do on a sunday. i read the thread on nasioc a while back about the "wrc" tail light look and just simply decided to mess around with the bulbs for varieties.

the best ones imo is the look that just the red circles are glowing. that sir, is sexy. but yours are sweet too

 

Ahh I remember that thread, thats were I got the idea to do mine. I still prefer the "JDM" style however.

Put in a fog light bulb. Fourth one to go in two years.... But, perhaps, the most important thing, was putting on the stock taillights. Finally got rid of those awful clear ones the 45 year old guy had on it when I bought it from him.

Finally my car had a carwash after a couple of months. Nice and clean now.

 

Got my coilovers adjusted, an allignment, and corner-balance by jeff the allignment guy. Car is happy sitting a little higher. I can't wait for the first winter in the subi. No wash due to the long line at holiday grr

 

got pulled over coming home from work for loud tranny whine...LOL...

jk...loud exhaust..

 

i've still never been pulled over for loud exhaust yet lol.....me and qstarin took some sweet pics of the rides :biggrin:

Got our first snow of the year up here, lots of icy intersections and the like.

I was amazed at how reflexive it was to control the couple of oops slides I got into. Rallycrossing seems to be paying off already.

 

Swapped out the JDM radio/CD/MiniDisc for a unit that actually works.

 

Got the interior detailed (damn lady that had it before me and her dogs...), fixed the clock, polished the hazy headlights, and took it through the wash.

 

how did you polish headlights? i assume you made them alot brighter by doing so?

 

took a car polisher/buffer (not really sure on the technical term here...) and some kind of polish my dad had. I am not sure what the brand of the polish was, but just some sort of car polish. Worked good, they are like new. How long it stays like that I have no idea, but they really couldn't have been any worse...

 

Did some serious kicking around in the snow!

Found a couple nice parking lots that were just enough out of the way to spend some significant time in.
