I transfered all of my stuff from my WRX to the new ride. I remember how excited I was after I got the WRX because I had wanted one for so long. I didn't know it was possible to be more excited to own a car. I absolutely love it. Here it is in the cluttered garage.:

New winter tires! I went with the Michelin Primacy Alpin after much research and talking to a few of the techs at Discount Tires. They ride nice, I'm going to take them to the lake about 2 blocks away and test them out a little later.

Edit: The new tires made a huge difference on the lake. (I went out on the ice with my original tires) The grip was good on the packed snow and passable on the pure ice areas. It's nice living 2 blocks from a lake with a public access.

Took it for a drive along the coast road from Limassol to the Birthplace of Aphrodite.

Daren't take any stills of the car yet, since it is still in dire need of a bath. Cut me some slack, we've had water rationing here for more than a year ! But we did get a video out of the front window. Check The New Stoobaru thread for that.

Went and used my friends hoist while he is out of town, changed the oil and did a lot of ice removal around the front suspension. Turns out the new rubbing sound was ice rubbing on a halfshaft. Twenty two below temps and 15" of new snow will do that :)

that'll be sexy when it's done!

I looked at it, laughed a bit at how ridiculous the whole thing is and then helped emily install her limited stereo

tomorrow is rally light re-wiring. probably work on the rear suspension and try to find that gas leak too

Actually drove it. Which doesn't sound like much, but it's Sheen's old '06 that has finally come back from the dead. Hasn't been on the road in over a year due to sudden impact with tree.
Since I've never even worked on a Subaru before, I am proud of myself. I had the heads redone and have added only a couple small mods. But did almost all of the work myself including engine removal, timing belt and pulleys, intake tear down and tgv delete, clutch, all wiring, installed new front sheetmetal and lights, turbo and exhaust, ......
So now it is assembled, running, licensed, and insured as my dd. Thanks to a few of you guys I solicited advice from.

got the car aligned, helped andrew with his gimpy transmission, and aimed the new lights. the 700ff with hids actual focus quite well. the 4000's with hids just project forever. let's just say, it's all very bright

    you have the smell too???

It's worth it and can be done for cheap, just takes a few hours. (You have to have a aftermarket inlet hose though.) But it's still mucho cheaper.
