I put Prosport boost gauge today. The install gave me a little headaiche and frost bite. It's hard to do things in unheated garage :(
Also, I think I fixed my oil leak. Was not as easy as I thought. Will see if it worked. Had to use some sealing tape on the addapter that goes on top of the turbo where banjo screws in.

Finally put my new tires on the WRX (Goodyear F1s). Can't believe how bad my old all seasons were. Also, finished gathering everything I am going to need to do a full exhaust replacement this weekend. Up & Down-pipes as well as the catback, should be interesting.

Go out and drive it around for a bit, bring it home, let it idle with everything off, but dont let the fans kick on. Drive it for at least 20 minutes, while its still daylight, with the headlights off.

^^^ or replace the battery. cold does not kill batteries, heat does, but the motor is tougher to turn over when it is frozen in spot so everyone blames the cold for killing the battery.

    Cold does kill batteries.

#1 - the output of your battery is lower when it's colder. That's why the "Cold Cranking Amps" of a battery are lower.

#2 - If the battery is low enough, and the electrolyte is weak enough, the battery can freeze, which almost invariably does damage to the internal connections. This is one reason it's a good idea to pull the battery out of a car that's being stored outside. But if you run your battery way down trying to start the car in the cold, it can then freeze and it's toast.

a healthy battery will never freeze. if your battery is frozen then it is either well on its way out, or a very low charge. low fluid level does not mean it will freeze, as long as that electrolyte is in good condition.

ummmmmmm I did not see any of this due to the fact I was not on mnsubi cause I was driving it around I suggest you go in some other thread and worry about something else like your own car...I drove it around..for the rest of day ran errands and seems fine, the battery was brand new last spring..edit: and I did let it idel for 20mins with no fans or lights or radio..

well it did not start but I was planning on that happening...I tried starting it this morning and the belts were squeaking bad and it just cranked as usual...battery is brand new so if it is bad maybe I can get it replaced under warranty.

^^^ check to see if the case is bulging at all... usually overcharging does it but also if it freezes for some reason then it will expand too...

I would say take it to get tested... if it tests bad - WARRANTY
